smile I didn’t know about the testing delays. Could improve the used residuals by cutting supply Increasing demand thus lowering our lease refreshes quotes (I live in hope hehe) as the depreciation will be lower. Man maths king here smile
Speaking of man maths, I looked at the cash v company car figures again this week and the 40% BIK cost is more than rentals I’m paying.

So that works out as a free car plus your car allowance in your pocket doesn’t it?

My first S5 would of been due back in two months but the one I have now isnt up on its lease till July 19 - I will definately be trying to extend for a further 12 months though but as a minimum will do the 3 month informal. I really like the car, my spec is good and lease deals in the past 12 months bar S4 deals have been poor when it comes to a comparable car.
I too fancy an RS5 Sportback at some point but Audi (and VAG) are all over the place at the moment with WLTP. Hard to believe that RS5, RS4, S4, S5 and SQ% models have all been unavailable to order for a good few months now and there is no idea when they will be back. This must be really hurting Audi and given that the M3 has gone Mercedes must be getting some business for the luke warm and full fat AMG C class models.
Yeah and the S4 and RS4 realistically should have a facelfit announced before the order books reopen!

Hi guys. Quick one. If I got an oil service last month. I can see inspection due in app in 6
Months. I assume this doesn’t mean oil as well? It states oil due in 450 odd days.

Oil and inspection are two separate services. I got both done at same time when I got mine serviced to save two trips

For those of us that took delivery of our lease deals in late March/April 2017, what are everyone's thoughts in terms of the replacement vehicle when the car inevitably goes back?
I've gone for the I-Pace as a toe in the water for running an EV. The wife runs a Honda CRV so that, with low mileage diesel engine for year; tow bar; reliability a given, will do long haul and the Jag can do short stuff.

When the Jag lease runs out there will be plenty more EV kids on the block and, maybe before that, good deals around on D5 XC60s as they are discontinued.

OIl change now due on mine, coming up to 19 months old.

£265 @ Audi laugh and I cant get it done anywhere else. (and I cant even get through on phone despite 5 attempts)

7.5 litres of oil will be about £80 (retail) plus a filter etc £20. So we can say 20 mins of "YTS" labour is about £150.

Crazy prices! I know the oil service indicator can be manually reset (by anyone) via the MMI but not sure if it would get queried at the end...

Has anyone had their 1st service done - what kind of prices have people paid?

Sure. On Monday I went in for Inspection 1 and the Oil change at the same time, having done about 18k now. I paid £381 (includes £3.56 for screen wash which they took the liberty of charging me for).

This was at a Blade Audi dealer, because Inchcape were £50 more expensive.

My courtesy car was an A4 Allroad so could have been a lot worse.

Thanks for that.

I'm on similar mileage but still got a few k to go through before its due for its service. I had a new engine put in about 1k miles ago so didn't need the oil change which would've been due around now.

Lol re the screen wash - doesn't surprise me at all as it's Audi!

This is the exact reason I ended up with a maintenance/service/tyre package costing £15 pm based on 5k miles pa for my S4. Takes the stress out of it smile

Just down to tyres and mileage, I expect. 10K over two years, you'll need no tyres. 20K over 2 years means a set of four. allow £600+ for tyres, so £25/month extra just for that.

Great breakdown - makes sense.

In hindsight I probably should've just had maintenance added as I've just replaced 2 tyres and will need to replace the other 2 before it goes back plus a service. Easier on the pocket to pay for all that monthly rather than have to pay for it in big chunks.

At 18k and just having had Inspection 1 this week, they've told me that my fronts are down to 2.5mm and rears 3.5mm.

I've done 17k and just changed the fronts - the rears will need replacing very soon...

You might get away with just changing the fronts on yours.

This totally depends on your type of driving and the trips you take. My S4 lives on a diet of short-but-quick drives and therefore chews through its tyres. Lots of stop start traffic, roundabouts, traffic lights and not so much motorway driving. So my fronts lasted around 6.5k! Swapped rears to front, new onto the rear. And around 3.5mm left on the fronts already (not at 10k yet).

I've done 21k and just replaced the front tyres. Back has loads left.

Asked for a quote to extend for another year, quoted £560 a month. Based on that I will be looking to replace it come March. Don't know what though, ideally I want to spend less.
