After a call this am saying it will be at dealership mid next week, mine's now ready as of Thursday this week but I've not got my current car collected yet, so next Tuesday it is :-)
I've not done Gap insurance before. I've just called em but been on hold for aaaaages. Does the standard ALA Gap policy cover my deposit as well? If not could some kind soul let me know what else I need to do?

Lucky you. I've been told it won't be delivered to my dealer until a week tomorrow but they've asked for it to be prioritised. Any ideas why it jumped forward so much!?I've not done Gap insurance before. I've just called em but been on hold for aaaaages. Does the standard ALA Gap policy cover my deposit as well? I had the same build week as you guys and mines still waiting to be allocated to a boat. Not sure how long this takes, id assume they'd know if it was going onto a boat this week.Vidic, sorry mate I can't help you. I know they were waiting on their transport company to pick it up, she said she'd spoken to them early am so I guess it's down to whichever company they use and how much sway they've got. They did want it registered in April so maybe they pulled a few strings?

I have the Audi Connect ap on my phone and can see my SB but some services are locked.(wheres my car etc)
I am already a registered user on MyAudi with the S5 registered.
I can use the connect services in the car and have tried entering the "Key User" details into the MMI as follows:
User Name - I assume this is the email address I use to log onto My Audi?
The vehicle code - I have typed in the (9?) digit code under the plastic flap that came on the car key.
Have tried 3 times making sure the details entered are 100% correct and it keeps saying incorrect information. I now have 7 chances left to enter the correct info.
I'm stumped - anyone any the wiser and able to assist?
TIA.

If I recall correctly you go into the main menu, then audi connect and scroll down to last option. Instead of selecting it push mmi button to right. A sub menu comes up giving a login option. This is different from the prime user input.I have the Audi Connect ap on my phone and can see my SB but some services are locked.(wheres my car etc)

Select this and type in your myaudi email address and password.
Then you need to sync all through the web page - myaudi and Audi connect tab. This then prompts you to type in the security number from your plastic key fob as part of this process. I think
Still can't get the app to work correctly - it may need a SIM card purchase but not sure at all.

That's lovely fair play. Are they standard S5 alloys? Bit nicer than the standard s4 alloys if so!
Yeah the S4 standards are naff IMO. Not because they are 18s, but because they just look rubbish. I would say the 275 quid or whatever on the cheapest 19s on the S4 is money well spent and still keeps it a bit cheaper than an S5 stm1234 said:

You don't need a SIM card, only the one that is already embedded. You do have to verify the user account via email though for security reasons, maybe that's the issue??Select this and type in your myaudi email address and password.

Mine came yesterday. Very pleased apart from a deep scratch on the silver trim on the front passenger door but they're going to put that right.
First driving impressions are pretty good. Feels much more refined than the Golf of course. Steering much slower and lighter, will take a bit of time to get used to.
Gearbox not quite as good at low speed/in normal driving as the 7 speed in the C63 but it might smooth out as it beds in. The 1st to 2nd shift is a bit lumpy. Would be nice if it set off in 2nd in normal mode.
Noise is nice, startup almost as antisocial as the C63 was.
Fit, finish, equipment etc all top notch. Experienced one instance of window not dropping correctly but I think I confused it by cycling the ignition with the door open. Had similar on my old Z4C from time to time so glitchy frameless windows aren't unique to this model at all.
