Mine came yesterday. Very pleased apart from a deep scratch on the silver trim on the front passenger door but they're going to put that right.

First driving impressions are pretty good. Feels much more refined than the Golf of course. Steering much slower and lighter, will take a bit of time to get used to.

Gearbox not quite as good at low speed/in normal driving as the 7 speed in the C63 but it might smooth out as it beds in. The 1st to 2nd shift is a bit lumpy. Would be nice if it set off in 2nd in normal mode.

Noise is nice, startup almost as antisocial as the C63 was.

Fit, finish, equipment etc all top notch. Experienced one instance of window not dropping correctly but I think I confused it by cycling the ignition with the door open. Had similar on my old Z4C from time to time so glitchy frameless windows aren't unique to this model at all.

Looks great!! I agree with you on the gearbox, but after doing 1200 miles in mine nothing has changed in that regard, only the fuel consumption has improved.

Looks great. Is that the metallic or flat black? Thanks

That's a flattering angle isn't it? It's the regular flat black. Already needs a wash!

Tracker is a little behind, showing status 40 but have had a call that my car is ready for collection this Saturday.

Some pictures I've been sent, can't wait!

Why oh why do I keep coming back to this thread... it's torture. I'm tempted to post something awful to land myself a three month ban smile

Wow car looks nice, congrats! I have chosen the same colour combination but wasn't 100% sure before ordering, so it is nice to know it works smile

I have the same issue..

I have the Audi Connect ap on my phone and can see my SB but some services are locked.(wheres my car etc)
I am already a registered user on MyAudi with the S5 registered.

I can use the connect services in the car and have tried entering the "Key User" details into the MMI as follows:

User Name - I assume this is the email address I use to log onto My Audi?
The vehicle code - I have typed in the (9?) digit code under the plastic flap that came on the car key.

Have tried 3 times making sure the details entered are 100% correct and it keeps saying incorrect information. I now have 7 chances left to enter the correct info.

I'm stumped - anyone any the wiser and able to assist?

TIA.
If I recall correctly you go into the main menu, then audi connect and scroll down to last option. Instead of selecting it push mmi button to right. A sub menu comes up giving a login option. This is different from the prime user input.

Select this and type in your myaudi email address and password.

Then you need to sync all through the web page - myaudi and Audi connect tab. This then prompts you to type in the security number from your plastic key fob as part of this process. I think smile

Still can't get the app to work correctly - it may need a SIM card purchase but not sure at all.
Don't think this has been mentioned but you need to verify your myaudi account before it will let you become a key user. You do that on the website.
Cheees for the info. I have already registered on the My Audi site.
Been on a course all day but will have another go later.
I'm wondering if the "User name" it's requesting is the shorter code (6 digits?) that you get when you register your vehicle on myaudi - and then if the password is the longer number from the plastic key fob..?

You register and then you need to get the account verified. I had to go back on and do this.

Try https://www.ala.co.uk or https://totallossgap.co.uk/

ALA seem to have good rep and regularly answer Q's here on PH and a 12% discount code (PISTON12)
https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=14...

TotalLossGap were significantly cheaper for me, but ALA will usually price-match them.

(For leasing, make sure your initial payment is covered. Not all Gap policies do that.)
