Yep it's not there either. They've denied all knowledge despite being the only people that will have ever used it. Annoying!
Just seen this.
It's not in the extra compartment at the front of the boot that is under the part of the boot floor that doesn't lift up?
In my S4, the boot floor went from

__

to

_/

And' I'm sure the nut was under the bit that didn't lift.

Finally sorted an S5 replacement. Ended up signing for a BMW 840i M Sport Gran Coupe via G2L on a very good deal - 9+23 with 10k per annum at £3100 down and £351 a month.

Less sporty obviously but I am fine with that and never had a BMW before.

Does mean all my add-ons are for sale including a full Milltek system so if anyone knows someone with a B9 S5 coupe who fancies an 18 month old Milltek system let me know!

That’s a great waftmobile to FTk on.
We’ve mainly had BMW and VAG products.
Once you get the hang of where everything is you’ll find them a nice place to be

You say wafty but it does have adaptive dampers and an electronic locking diff as standard so it clearly has some sporty pretensions. It's also probably similar in weight - the 2 door 2wd 840i is under 1700kg vs 1820kg for the S5 sportback.

I was looking at hot hatches but the poshness and crazy price of the 840 has swayed me. Fingers crossed I can bag a slot.

Nice one mate happy for you. Since picking up the x3m I’ve seen a few cracking deals with some buyers remorse (in terms of £) such as this 8 series, PHEV q5 and q7 on here.

Was sad to see the terrific s5 go smile

On that note the s5 inspection was around 3 -4 weeks lead time so bear that in mind guys. You have to insure it and service etc in that window.

Perhaps it was the Xmas period not sure

The inspector was thorough noted a few minor dings and windscreen chip. She cleaned up well but the nice new car smell defo gone. Probably due to takeaways in the boot and two kids hehe.
Total cost 0 so happy with that.
He didn’t seem to care about the Audi services just the fact they were done. Also didn’t notice the damage to alloys (outer rim and minor) on most wheels. I had wet sanded them and lacquered and it looked millions of times better than Before.

The x3m is here and she is a flipping beast. Yes the eu have killed pops and bangs as it has 4 opf filters! It absolutely rockets and I still haven’t taken beyond 4K as I need RIS. Ride is firm but I am dealing with it smile I have the MPS4S tyres and they are excellent.

Fit and finish top notch tech I was worried about ID6 etc but it is great especially with HUD. Prob would have preferred ID7 though.

I am getting to know my petrol purveyors very very well lol

Managed to bag an 840i GC for April delivery for £403 on 3+23 8k miles. Very happy with that! Unfortunately that means I’m liable for the increase in VED that comes into effect in April but such is life.

There seem to be some good X3 M40i deals floating around at the moment too.

Absolute result in the tyres mate! I put MPS4s on my S5 and they are easily the best tyres. Dreading Bridgestone run flats on this 840

The 840i GC I saw in person had Michelins on it so fingers crossed that's what we'll get.

Very true worked out well though given the extra spec! Still cant believe it was found 1.5 miles from my house 4 months later.

I missed that part of the story. Was it stored in a garage or just parked on a street?

I extended mine for a year and it goes back late April. I've still got 4k miles to use up in that time so I need to start planning some road trips.

Looking forward to the 840i GC arriving though.

Mine goes back beginning of march, great car and will be sad to see it go.... Looking forward to a change though, from V6 2 door to an estate, significant change 😁

In a garage. Police had a tip a stolen Golf gtd was being stored there. No Golf but my S5 and a number plate machine. Aside from a thick layer of dust and the glovebox being ripped out it was tip top apparently

I'm still here. Total term will be 3.5 years when it goes back in June, just hit my 30k miles max on the lease so I am expecting approx 2000 miles of excess, approx £300.

Still no idea where to go next. Perhaps a used RS6 or a Tesla Model 3.
