Lovely colour buddy! Is there aby reason we are not seeing more S5's on the road. Not that I am complaining its nice to have something uncommon. Just wondered as I have only see one other S5 and to be honest not seen many new A5 models either.Mrjww88 said:

Never has been many S5's about unlike M3's. A5's are quite common though where I live.Ok. So I've had my S5 sportback for almost a week now and already the car had developed 3 faults.
1. Red light coming on telling me that water cooler level is to low, even though it actually isnt.
2. Start/stop malfunction.
3. Yellow alternator warning light coming on and staying on.
Had Audi roadside assistance take a look at the water cooler issue (the other 2 issues came up later) and he said look like an issue with either the sensor or wiring.
Will need to take to Audi next week to take a look. Frustrating because having waited 5 months for the car, this is the last thing i needed.

Having one fault is annoying let alone three! Touch wood no problems with mine yet. Hope you get this sorted with no further issues.1. Red light coming on telling me that water cooler level is to low, even though it actually isnt.

Picked up my car Thursday this week, after ordering at end of January.
First impressions...superb! Loving it, everything I thought it would be. Love the speed, love the noise, love that it can be refined and comfortable and loving the technology.
Couple of niggles, passenger seat belt rattle against seat ( poor design!) and I have a rattle from the back somewhere
Had first decent run out today, though it was 'sensible' as had the family with me. Got 33.4 mpg so must have been fairly sensible. Matrix headlights are amazing, dealing brilliantly with following cars, traffic coming in other direction but illuminating the whole view ahead fantastically.
TomScrut- was that you I saw at Peasholme roundabout today? Can't be that many black s5 sportback son the Scarborough area....

Had a really weird issue on Sunday.
Coming to roundabout on dual carriageway doing 70mph; tapped the left paddle to drop to 7th. As i slowed the car, it behaved like the paddle was stuck; The gearbox kept dropping to the lowest gear the RPMs would allow. Basically bouncing off the limiter until i stopped, even putting it in to 1st at 20-30 mph, i don't recall because i was having to hammer the brakes on and handle the car lurching backwards and forwards on each gear change. You know what its like when you put a car in gear where RPM is near 6000... I tried changing up, it wouldn't let me. I came to a halt put it in manual then back to auto and everything went back to normal.
Anyone else experienced anything like this? It wasn't he most pleasant of things especially since i wasn't driving "enthusiastically", just a quiet commute home after running club...

When you pull and hold the down paddle, it moves to the lowest possible gear for that speed. So if the paddle sticks that is what will happen. Not sure if thats what you are getting at so that could have been the case. If not it must have been a computer blip which is concerning.Coming to roundabout on dual carriageway doing 70mph; tapped the left paddle to drop to 7th.
