Would an S4 be the best option?

As opposed to an S5?

I think if these S4 deals had been on when I ordered my S5 I think I would have had the S4 in Avant.

As opposed to another Golf at the money they seem to be on at the moment it's a no brainer I think. For what you lose in driving enjoyment (in terms of steering feel) you gain back over and over in sound, interior quality and comfort.

Just got my quote back 3+23 1230 upfront then 23 x410 so 10660 all in inc vat that's basic black grey leather and VC. It is tempting. Slightly concerned about it's drinking habits but mine are questionable too

It was through fleet prices and was just a bit better than their advertised deal, as I added £300 worth of options.

Go Green were offering a bit cheaper, but there was ( quoting them) no guarantee of a car, so I went with FP.
Guy I dealt with was very good, but he's nto at work for the next week.

£10318 for 10k pa for 2 years ( 2+23)
15.58ppm excess,
I expect to do 15k pa , so will adjust/pay afterwards.

Was it Leo you were dealing with?

Seems a good price for 10k miles. What options did you go with?

No - Andy. Just virtual cockpit and Flat bottomed wheel.
Thought about lots more but managed to restrain myself.

Sorry to hijack the S4 thread, I'm currently tracking a Q5 via Audi and was wondering how you find out what ship it's on to track it?

Cheers.

You don't, you guess to an extent. The same car transporters run between the ports and if you know your car is in Emden then you have a good idea it may be on the next ship to the port nearest your dealer. If the ship sets off and then at 1am the next morning your tracker goes to on the boat then you know it's on that ship.

My one, ordered at end of Nov, delivered late Feb.

Options: Navarra Blue Metallic, Virtual Cockpit, 19" 20-spoke wheels

£3553.20 + 23x394.80 = £12633 over term, 10k miles pa, I think it was £11500 before the options were added.

Pretty pleased so far - 3,600 miles so far, so will be speaking to VWFS at 18 months regarding the excess mileage.

I guess I don't understand spending this amount of money on a car that still looks like a common blando rep-mobile.

Ever thought of making the massive mental leap to the fact they may want a car that looks like a common blando rep-mobile. Not everyone thinks a tea tray spoiler and 21 inch wheels is a good look for their car.

I don't want to spend 10k getting my genitals tucked inside out and fake boobs implanted , but I don't go on pre-op transsexual threads in forums to tell them I don't understand people who do.

You've seen his profile, then? I can't understand why someone would spend that much on a car that looks like it's escaped from BarryBoys...

It's each to his own. I love my S4 precisely because of the under-the-radar looks.

Nice. Excuse my ignorance but what does MY actually stand for?

Also is that any newly ordered s4 will fall into this category or have you specifically asked to make sure it will be the latest version to include the 19s etc?

Hated the 19 multispokes when I first saw them, but browsing on autotrader, they are growing on me! smile

Don't worry MY took me a while...it is model year.

Not sure when the new MY kicks in, but when I started speaking with Audi last Thursday their system was updating. It was only by spending some time on the phone with them I found out and then got my quote confirmed on the MY18 car.
