Not a good deal no. Im paying less than that with optional 19s, VC, and full maintenance Inc tyres.

Granted, that deal appears to have gone now, but that's over the odds in my opinion...
Sounds like a cracking deal. What are your actual figures?

Just checked Freedoms current deal versus Audi including VAT

Total monthly payments Freedom £551.14

Total monthly payments Audi £528.75
Over the term, the Audi deal is 12275.70.

Freedom is 10748.12. yes that's based on 8k miles but excess mileage of 2k is certainly not going to be 1500quid!

350 on a 9+23, with 210 admin fee.

Without the maintenance the car was circa 330 a month.

I just called and organised the driveaway insurance. You are allowed 3 additional drivers. They don't even care about points or accidents and don't take the details, which was surprising.
Touch wood I will be getting mine on Fri. I've also done the free 5 day cover, and added the 3 named drivers.

This week is dragging!!!!! biggrin
That's good to know will be adding 2 additional drivers for sure although I will probably want to do all the driving!

Car was reigstered start of July but I didn't bother doing the paperwork till last week cause I wanted to delay it until my fortnight off work. So now its going to be delivered on the first day of my time off - happy days.

Does the car need running in?

The dealer may not be responsible for delivery, I thought the broker sorted that?

Presuming you have a 20k contract, is picking it up yourself really worth 5% of your total time in it? I'd much rather have it delivered and thrash it for 400 miles another time than waste them sat on a motorway.
<cough>2%<cough> (Sorry) smile

I'd be going home the interesting way with a couple of nice hotels/B&Bs thrown in.
Perhaps but then again they cost money. Is the "virgin" car experience (even though its far from that anyway given how many backsides will have been in the seats by the time it even gets to the dealer) really worth the messing about?

The pistonheads special offer seems pretty competitive, but I'm insuring with LV so after the experience of the stolen S5 I'm not sure I'm going to get GAP at all.

Is anyone else surprised that the rear windows aren't tinted on the S4?

Got a quote of £120 to tint mine. Picking up tomorrow...can't wait...

A very expesnive option of £350 iirc.

I will be getting tints too for half of what Audi charge and then have them removed before I return the vehicle.

I was offered gap insurance for £300 by one of th elease companies partners. I haven't gone for it just yet but I believe it's a good price - interested to know what the PH offer for gap insurance is if you can point me in the right direction.

I get £153 for 15k cover and 2k initial payment cover. My lease is a two year one.

I've got mine through ALA. Got a quote from another site, then ALA offered to match it, but actually beat it, so I'm a happy bunny.

105quid for 24 months on an S4 Inc up to 3k initial payment.

With all this talk of thieves targeting these type of cars lately, it was the initial payment I was worried about loosing if it was stolen, so just over 100quid for peace of mind is a good deal to me! smile

Yep I got the same on my S5 (well about £3 more IIRC). Went to total loss gap, got the quote and then made use of ALAs beat by 20% of the difference policy

I've just ordered my lease S4 so it will arrive late September smile are there any hidden features as my b8s4 had quite a few. I'm also hearing quite a lot of good things about the tuning boxes and that they don't lease a trace on the ECU.

Read the S5 tips and tricks thread. Ironically not full of amazing 'Easter eggs' in your next car, but there's a lot of info on one of the tuning boxes.

Hi all,

My leased S4 arrives next week and just sorted out the insurance - £240 fully comp, including the wife! On a like-for-like basis I was paying £300 for the leased 520d M Sport and amazed that this is even cheaper! This lease is shaping up to be a complete bargain!

Cannot wait!

Collected mine today, I'm very impressed, and considering it took me 3 hours to do 80 odd miles stuck in bd traffic and pissing down weather, and im still smiling, that's a good sign.

Initial impressions are it's better made than the c class it just replaced, love the interior, and the VC is brilliant!

Oh and not forgetting the noise! Sounds spot on for me, even though not had chance to open it up properly yet smile

Picked the beast up yesterday and love it smile had a mad day. Managed to miss my flight but got on the next one (for a big premium).

Then took 10 hours to drive up to Scotland. The traffic was insane. Luckily I got to stretch her legs after Manchester.

32.8 mpg over the whole trip over 430 miles. Not bad.

I have noticed a lot of wind noise at high speeds from the driver side door. Anyone else?

What deal did you get on the S4

Got the mmi setup to my phone, but it seems to be out of sync every now and then leaving me worried as it says the cars unlocked!!!

I've defo locked it, then walked away from the car far enough to see it, but out of range, and run mmi, tested it unlocked and then locked the car. Then while Mrs is shopping and I'm stood waiting around, I checked the status on it and it says unlocked!!

Slightly worrying!

I refresh and it says it's last updated 'now' so I would hope it's correct, but it shows car as unlocked and the car finder at a road I was on earlier today.

Bit crap unless I'm missing something?!

Mines the same, expect to see lights left on, even they're set to auto!
The MMI app is a nice idea, just unreliable.
