Ordered a leased s4 early in April saying I needed a 1stSeptember delivery.

Checked the tracker and the car is ready and left he factory to go to the port!

Where do you think I stand with this? Will the car just sit around the dealers for 2 months? Do you think Audi would be willing to buy out my current lease (VWFS as well)

Wow, the opposite problem to what we had with our S5s!

I would imagine if you phone the leasing company and say you ordered it with 1st of September as the date they will try and sort the problem.

I emailed them on Monday and they are waiting to hear back from the dealer. Bloody brokers.

Although I wanted to be one of those people with a shiny sports car on new number plates day, I wouldn't mind the car sooner if they can do something about my current lease. I have no need for two cars and two payments!

I would imagine they will hold your car so long but I doubt VWFS would be willing to let you out of your contract early.

I meant on the cheap in lieu of the fact your other car is early!

Hi guys, so I have an S4 on order too (recent 10k mpa CVL deal). The order was placed with the dealership on 2nd of May anyone know if I will get a MY17 or MY18 spec?
I didn't add any options and I think it will be too late to add any now but I went for the standard white with a red leather interior.

I believe it's a month before your build date it locks down.

Seems a decent deal that, quite a hefty initial though.

Did you get quotes with options or were you just happy with the standard spec?

It is a hefty deposit but the monthy repayments are low for the car IMO. Are you considering ordering one?

I have just gone for the standard spec in white with red interior. I am cosnidering adding a few options as my build date is still unconfirmed and it is looking to start in about 6weeks time so I hope i'm not too late. I will be calling CVL on my lunch to find out if it is going to be possible.

The confusing thing is since I ordered the CVL deal the Audi configurator has changed. They have removed the not so nice 18inches and replaced with the 19s I was going to add as an extra as standard. They have also added the flat bottom steering wheel as standard. Those are two of the options I was considering so I'm hoping as mine hasnt been built yet I will be getting the new spec. I have also been thinking about the vitural cockpit and seeing pictures and vides of it I really want it now so will hopefully get to add that.

Yes considering it. Not a fan of the multispoke 19s unfortunately, I like the others the v spoke ones that are 550 quid. Also would want VC, and ideally the folding mirrors, but it gets a bit silly when you keep adding stuff, so perhaps just the wheels and VC...

Mmm

Just spoke to CVL they will be getting back to me tomorrow to find out whether or not they can add the options on for me.

I can't believe an almost £50k car doesnt have folding mirrors as standard. I have these in my current cars and will definitely miss folding mirrors - especially cause my car is parallel parked most of the time but I refuse to pay extra for them. My neighbour recently got a fully loaded CLA AMG line 4matic and I was amazed to find that folding was an optional extra too.

I paid for the admin fee. Which deal are you looking to go for?

I know its ridiculous isn't it!

Im waiting for a few companies to come back to me with quotes actually. some are a bit relaxed when it comes to responding!!

have you worked out what the percentage of RRP this lease is costing you? under the holy grail of 25% I imagine?

RRP is about just over 45k isn't it, but carwow are doing PCPs on the car for just under 39k, so not sure if the percentage is meant to be based on the RRP or the best carwow type price...?!

I havent worked out the exact firgures but i'm sure I read on the lease deals thread it was something around the 25% mark.

Yes I believe they can be had for a few grand below the RRP but this is such a good deal IMO that I've not considered the PCP option and its not something I see myself owning long term due to the running costs and petrol.

Hi,

I finally have an order number from Audi and track my order. The car is the S4 Avant MY18 so no options added.

Looking at the tracker I can see the following -

Order date -24/04/17
Current stage - preparation
Construction will begin - 12th June 2017

based on the above does anyone have an idea of when I could expect delivery? ...I am getting impatient already!!!
