These are the first batch of decent leases on the GTI for a bit now since the change of VED.

I am ordering White, fancied something different as always have Grey or Black cars.... I am concerned I might look like a 40 year boy racer. Welcome your thoughts?
I wouldn't personally. Anything but white for me. I'd go for the isaac blue. Mines pearl black but it's a bit of a pain

Get it done. Oryx White is stunning in flesh.
I'm sure it is but justifying almost 1k on paint for a 2 year lease is impossible. That's a circa 16% premium (~6k to ~7k) just for paint. Ouch.It is a very unique paint though, VW really should consider some of these options as adding equity to the vehicle and reduce the option prices accordingly. You could very easily shift a second-hand Oryx White car for a few hundred quid more than a solid paint counterpart.

I've been told similar by a VW dealer I hoped to place an order with, he said delivery by the end of the current quarter but would stretch to July as leeway for possible delays in build, was hoping for September deliveryBensZ4MC said:

I've just been told the exact same thing. My dealer had originally told me there was no registration time limit on these and that it could be delivered in September. They have now just been told by VWFS that the cars have to be registered by end-of-quarter (30th June). It's a bit of a bitach, but with a bit of luck they could be delayed (he reckons VWFS have messed this up and won't be able to fulfil these orders in this time frame...).
The other option, which I have just looked into, is to do an Early Termination of current lease contract. This costs 55% of the remaining payments pro-rata'd for mileage, in my case (lease ending late September) I'd be looking at less than £250 ETF so it still makes this deal very much worthwhile.
