Do we think this happens as they have no issues selling the 3drs?
I can only presume so.

The new 18" wheels on facelift GTi are terrible whereas the pre facelift were just fine. Would kinda force me to order the 19", anyone got a quote for what extra that adds?

£600 extra for the "Brescia" 19" wheels - so about £25/month more over the term

Fleet Prices have the GTi for £1628 down, and £180/month for 10k/year with £300 processing.
So that's total of £6068 (or £252 a month).

Fair point but this is for the new facelift model so i can understand the new thread.

These are the first batch of decent leases on the GTI for a bit now since the change of VED.

How quickly is stock likely to last on these? I have a quote from national vehicle solutions but i'm still waiting on a cheaper quote direct from VW.

I don't want to hold off too long and miss out.

Also, anyone know the likelihood of getting delivery for late May/early June?

Probably not for long, that's for sure! Nationwide Vehicle Contracts have delivery times of June. Not sure about elsewhere though

I wouldn't personally. Anything but white for me.

I'd go for the isaac blue. Mines pearl black but it's a bit of a pain

I'm sure it is but justifying almost 1k on paint for a 2 year lease is impossible. That's a circa 16% premium (~6k to ~7k) just for paint. Ouch.

It is a very unique paint though, VW really should consider some of these options as adding equity to the vehicle and reduce the option prices accordingly. You could very easily shift a second-hand Oryx White car for a few hundred quid more than a solid paint counterpart.

Been offered this at £226 a month + £680 down direct from VW so no fees, but Q2 delivery - albeit 30/09.

Ideally be looking for it Q3 delivery, anyone know whose able to do Q3 delivery?

From what i've been told, September is the latest i've been advised for delivery delays. Others on here have had a reply to say up until December time believe.

Any later than that is whatever can be agreed but i doubt you'll be able to push it back much more.

I have just been told that the cars can only be standard spec, although I can order in any colour.

I've been told similar by a VW dealer I hoped to place an order with, he said delivery by the end of the current quarter but would stretch to July as leeway for possible delays in build, was hoping for September delivery

Isn't Q2 Apr - Jun, Q3 July - Sep?

I've just been told the exact same thing. My dealer had originally told me there was no registration time limit on these and that it could be delivered in September. They have now just been told by VWFS that the cars have to be registered by end-of-quarter (30th June).

It's a bit of a bitach, but with a bit of luck they could be delayed (he reckons VWFS have messed this up and won't be able to fulfil these orders in this time frame...).

The other option, which I have just looked into, is to do an Early Termination of current lease contract. This costs 55% of the remaining payments pro-rata'd for mileage, in my case (lease ending late September) I'd be looking at less than £250 ETF so it still makes this deal very much worthwhile.

How about Spec changes, are people able to order what they like?
