A bit of trouble in a nightclub goes way out of hand when you throw some acid about....(quite who thinks this way escapes me)

You'd obviously have to stay under the radar, but nowadays I'd imagine that'd be very difficult to do (even with a bit of forward planning). Cash would be important, and a means of innocuous transport.
East does sound the most likely means of escaping capture - but for how long, and what kind of future life could you expect to have even with, say, £50k's worth of currency in your back pocket?
Someone should make a TV series about it!
The Daily Wail reported that this character (in his early 20's) had 'a million pound house' - as we well know, finger in the air house values are essential to any of their stories - where a man and a woman in their 50's were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.
In other words: he actually lives with mummy and daddy who are (allegedly) drug dealers, they have done a Kenny Noye and got him out of the country quietly via 'contacts'.

I used to have a list of the countries without expedition treaty with the UK .
If near enough my first stop would be Ireland then S America .
At the moment no pasport checks for Ireland .Then hope for a flight to anywhere outside Europe .
