If I'm not mistaken, doesn't the mk5 gti has a cambelt not a chain?

I could very easily be confusing pictures and parts though.

Yes it's a cambelt but if my memory serves me right there is also a chain drive between the 2 cams.

It has a cambelt that drives the exhaust cam... and a cam chain that links the exhaust cam to the intake cam via a VVT adjuster pulley
