Getting my Passat alltrack filled with ad blue here so checked out the Arteon. Like previous pics, she looks great in black.

It's wide by default, quite a sporty looking width straight on

Really love the shoulder line on it, looks better in the flesh

Made my think of the Jag f type the way the shoulder curves

Serious contender to be my next car, it's gorgeous.

Lol!

Not so bad getting into it, the hard bit is getting someone to let you out wink

They filled me up with ad blue and then mentioned about a software update. Going to take an hour-ish...so they gave me a lift back to work and the driver had to basically drive out in front of somebody just to get out - I guess thats why they only give him a VW Polo for customer lifts smile

I was seriously looking at an Arteon deal can't believe how amazing it looks in black.Probably my favourite colour now.

Anyone have any thoughts on the R line vs Elegance??

Has anyone seen any decent deals which don't involve putting 2k down?

Cheers

My local VW dealer has the Arteon R Line in Turmeric Yellow which looks good but I prefer the Deep Black.

R Line is the upgrade to Elegance so I would go for this option.

Not seen any 1/3/6 month deposit deals - all deposits seem to be around £2k.

Most of the deals there isn't a huge difference for r line so I'm leaning towards the r for that reason.

Look at tiguan r line versus se lease offers, huge price difference but the Arteon is minimal in comparison.

The Arteon deals over the last few weeks have now disappeared.

I have a couple of quotes based in my inbox based on the lower pricing that haven’t been used. If anyone wants them then let me know and I can email over. You will then deal directly with the dealership.

The dealership have confirmed that they are happy for these quotes to be used by someone else...they can change the customer name in the system but all options have to remain as originally requested.

The quotes are as follows (2.0 TFSI 190, DSG R-LINE, 24 month lease)

Quote 1
Miles: 8,000 per year
Options: Metallic paint
Initial Payment £4,240 + 23 x £144.62 =£7,566.26 (inc VAT)

Quote 2
Miles: 10,000 per year
Options: Metallic Paint, Panoramic Roof, XDS Diff lock
Initial Payment £4,306.50 + 23 x £197.05 = £8,838.65 (inc VAT)

Excess mileage is charged at 10.8p per mile inc VAT

Blimey anyone else feeling a little bit smug? Very rarely does this happen to me, I usually miss the deal, or sign up and it goes cheaper...

Just checked with a company I’ve had a quote from in the past, but managed to beat on this deal by going to a dealer. However, they are generally very competitive, so I’d wager are a good barometer for the market as it stands.

They now want £4400 deposit and £457.00 per month for a 5000 Miles per annum, 9+23 deal.

I’m paying well less than half that. Hence all is well in my world tonight.

I was originally going for the Elegance on the basis that the 18 inch wheels would be a bit more comfortable than the 19s on the R-Line. I also thought the dark roof lining of the R-Line would make it feel at bit dingy in the back for the kids.

However, at the last minute I just couldn’t resist and changed my order from Elegance to R!

These look great, i'm perfectly happy with my golf gti but I will consider these in the future.

I have dynaudio in my golf and it sounds great, I should imagine it will be very good in these too.

What colours have people gone for? Black seems popular (that’s what I have ordered) but I quite like the blue too.

I suspect most on lease deals will have gone for Urano Grey. I think Pyrite Silver looks pretty good though.

Why do I think this is the urano? or is it black?

Have a look at page one of this thread - I've posted links to a number of Arteon road tests, including one with lots of pictures of an Urano Grey car. This is the only 'free' colour.

I was looking at a pyrite silver R-Line Arteon in my local VW dealer today and it looked lovely, really nice car and huge inside.

Is there any other forum relevant for Arteon?
Not too many cars around I suppose.
Anyone wants VW Connect with their car?
