Ordered mine last week from NVS.

Standard Spec, 3/23 @ £208

Build week confirmed as 47. Week commencing 20/11
That's mental! Did you ask for a build date? They haven't told me anything.

Wish I'd gone with NVS now rather than Skoda direct.

No, it was showing as 18 weeks on the order form. But they asked if I wanted it early as there was a build space available week commencing 20th November.

NVS Message:

  • Production update 10/11/2017 - Due to the demand of the 245 vRS Petrol model Hatch/Estate Manual and DSG production for 2017 is now full with the factory unable to process any more orders. Quota is still currently available for the diesel vRS with selected stock coming through for December 2017 delivery, alternatively factory orders are still being accepted on the petrol 230ps vRS**

Oh dear. Are they saying they've cancelled your order?

Gutted isn’t the word. Mrs GP and I had decided on a new 245 via NVS earlier this week, chatted about and agreed the spec on Thursday night, and on Friday morning I logged on with phone in hand to see the above message frown

Think you got my cancelled order...had one on order with NVS for delivery this year but managed to get the only unregistered 245 in the country for only a couple hundred pounds more. Delivered last week and love it

There's a post on Briskoda forum, the 245 thread, and someone's saying the dealer has got back to them the factory have cancelled theirs and quite a few others orders.

I ordered back on the 6th of October so have followed up to see where it leaves me. Will confirm once I hear back so maybe we can work out what point they are cancelling orders from.

Ordered on 10th October and waiting to hear whether I'm likely to get a car

This is shambolic by Skoda - sure fire way to severely hack potential customers off

It's more likely to be NVS, many other lease companies have done this.

I ordered from a dealer who has just reassured me that there is no problem with my order, they believe it will still be delivered to my timescale (May 18) - great service from the dealer - response within 10 mins of me sending the email asking for clarification

My order from Horton Skoda has been confirmed as being accepted by the factory. I placed it on 18th October.

Meh, ordered mine through NVS on 24th October - all they will say is that it has been ordered with the dealer, no confirmation of order at the factory so far

I ordered on 18th October with NVS and got a build week 2 after I chased them up. I'm sure you'll be fine if you ordered before 8th November with NVS as that's when the production message went up.
