I'm on my second vRS both were disel due to the disel deals being much better at the time.

They're very good allrounder IMO. Boot space on the hatch is great, we can lug a pram, dog and luggage on a 6 hour trip to visit the in laws and find it comfortable.

My current one is due to go back in March so starting to weigh up what I will replace it with. This deal is a bit too early. For what I've paid I think I'll struggle. Current deal was 500 down and £184 a month.

Are you sure? Some are quoting a 20 week lead..

OP, when did the NVS deal get reduced?
I ordered at the end of Sept thinking it was a special short term deal then at start of Q4 in Oct the monthly price for a DSG hatch had dropped to £151 I think. Oh well, I was happy with my original deal so no big deal I suppose.

Had confirmation last week of build date week 1 2018 and delivery end of Jan.
When did you sign up for the deal to get that build week if you don't mind me asking. Trying to work out where mine might be.

Generally what do people do if the delivery is after other cars go back?
I signed up on 30 Sept and was told the build slot by NVS on 2 Oct when the order was confirmed.

If it’s going to arrive after your current lease ends it’s worth asking for an informal extension to your current lease. Some funders are lenient in that regard and give you a bit of leeway.
Ok. I signed up on the next Friday (although not with NVS) so hoping for not to long after yours.

The garage however said they wouldn't have a build week for at least 6 weeks.

Not a very PH question, but has anyone seen what the standard infotainment system looks like on the 245? The Škoda configurator is pathetic so it’s not very obvious what it’ll be like. Just curious!

I've seen the nav in an SE Tech model and assume it is the same. Looks good!

This is the upgraded one (I assume)

Looks very similar to the system in my 2016 Passat estate. I have never had integrated sat nav etc before so I was impressed at first but the interface is quite poor (entering a post code, estimating time to destination etc).

I’m coming to the end of my lease in a diesel vRS and need a new car for April delivery.

I’ve had a price of £345 for 22k per year on a 3+35 basis for one of these. They dontick a lot of boxes but I’m worried that the ride may be harsh and the fuel economy a bit of a killer. However, I’ve had oil burners for the last 11 years and fancy something a bit more exciting.

+1 on the ride and MPG. My wife is currently driving a 'lease bargain' Cactus but it is dull and I think this offers good value with the kit on offer. Hoping for 35mpg but not sure if this is optimistic. I will be promoting the use of Eco mode and light throttle useage driving Monday-Friday. wobble

Just done the deal on a DSG hatch with Paul Hewitt at Horton Skoda.

6+23 , 12kpa , corrida red - £222 pm.

Pretty happy with that, I have to collect the car but will hopefully be 1st March for the new 18 plate.

Is the corrida red extra? Also meteor grey is appealing to me.

Also what's the delivery time on that?

No the red and the grey are both free colours. I was told they take an average of 17 weeks at the moment.

Only red is free, grey is an extra £380.

Didn't realise that, assumed as it was non metallic like the red it would be free.

I dropped Paul an email this morning as I'm in the market for a car to replace my current PCH car, responded immediately, putting deals together for me as we speak - great service from him and the prices are better than I have seen elsewhere

hmmm. Tempted by one of these. Is that the dealer in Lincoln? They're only about 20 miles from me.

What's the excess mileage charge?

Thanks. So an extra 5k each year works out at £40/month. That's not too bad.

Less than 3 hours between first contact with Paul and placing an order - not bad considering I also wanted figures on a Superb and Kodiaq

Gone for a reasonable number of options but its still less than my current M135i and cheaper than I could get a VRS 230 for nearly 2 years ago
