Mine is getting delivered Wednesday. I’ve tried delaying as they wanted to deliver before Christmas. Still need to sell my other car.

I ordered Oct, was told initially it would be late Feb, now looking at late May early July time, S3 goes back end Jan, not impressed, that was from Horton Skoda yesterday.
Tricky situation. I assume you can informally extend the S3 deal by up to 3 month at the current rate. But that's still doesn't help. You might have to switch to a car with shorter lead time while you can...
Think i am just going to go car free for a few months, see how that pans out,lol

Just spoken to 21st century to see how much it will cost to cancel mine as still no build date after 10 weeks.

They are going to speak to skoda and ask, but have said i can transfer my admin fee to another lease with them.

My potential delivery date has now slipped until July. My current lease, also with VW Finance ends at the end of April. I suppose I can extend this but it will mean MOTing the car, maybe servicing it and even a set of rear tyres.

Not sure what to do......
If your current lease finance is with VWFS, then when I enquired in the past it was confirmed that they would allow the informal lease to roll on past 3 month and on the same terms. Give them a call.

Delivered today, impressed by the interior and electric memory seats. It’s a nice spec for a standard car. Nice throttle response and feels quite well planted. Coming from a Golf R it doesnt feel that quick but it’s a nice motor for the next couple years. smile

I'd be tempted to go the same route - The R is nice, but seems unnecessarily quick for most driving (never thought I'd say those words!)

Still, I've got 18 months left on my R's lease, so it's not something I need to worry about in the short term! biggrin

My build date has moved till April so I might get the car in May now. Hopefully all these other folk cancelling will bring it forward even more tongue out

Got my letter from Audi reminding me that my current A4 sport is due for collection on 10 March. My incoming 245 is being built this week so hopefully the handover from one car to another will align nicely - that gives 8 weeks after build for it the Octavia to be delivered (if the 245 is actually being built this week!)

I'm seriously looking forward to getting shot of the Audi. It's a decent enough thing but my god it's sooooo dull.

If anyone has a VRS estate auto they are looking to cancel, then I could take over the order and save your fees. Just mail me.

Ordered 05/10/2017 from NVS.
Registered 18/01/2018
Delivery scheduled for 24/01/2018

Was originally expecting a March delivery so must have been bumped up the list through cancelled orders?

Think you’re lucky Andy. I ordered exact same day and expecting mine in May. Kicked up a fuss with a complaint and expecting a call tomorrow with an update following a meeting they are apparently having today. I’m not holding my breath on any improvement, just as likely to be told it’ll be 2019 delivery!!!!

So, I ordered my Octavia vrs 245 through NVS 31 Oct with an estimated delivery of 18 weeks (end of Feb 2018) just been informed that my build week is now build week 23 (4th June 2018). Not happy that NVS haven't informed me earlier about this delay and given I've just done a Google search it appears the delays have been common knowledge. NVS have told me to call Skoda UK, have done and expecting a call back within 48 hours. Any idea what Skoda will do for me as I have my lease car going back in May and need a vehicle?

I complained to skoda directly, and now get weekly updates from them - usually along the lines of 'we got nothing to update you on'.. But at least it shows they care - sort of.

Lease for my A4 goes back end of March, no idea when this will arrive.

Fair to say this has been an almighty cock up by skoda selling cars they cant build. Id have preferred them to have just cancelled the cars so i could order something else, but now far too committed to the process to be able to order something else for it to arrive in time.

Is there a specific telephone number or email address you’ve used to complain to?

So e mail today from Horton, now its mid to late June but nothing confirmed, ask for procedure for cancellation, see what they come up with.

My current lease goes back 29 Jan. unsure of what to do tbh. 5 months without wheels is a long time, on another note how long does my no claims last for if i don't get another car?? just curious.
