Happy to share my deal

vRS 245 DSG estate
Black Magic pearl
DCC
Simply Clever pack
Rear USB ports
Front and rear heated seats
Keyless entry and start
Power tailgate

6+23 on 12 k per annum

1800 deposit and 300 per month - did not get a price per month without the options but common sense says about 80% of the cost will have been rolled into the payments so about £75-80 of the monthlies is due to options

Leasing company I use for my current car in comparison wanted 2500 deposit, 200 handing fee and 425 per month on the same spec

I’ve got a cost per month for a 3+35 for 23k per year on a red estate with a spare wheel which is VERY tempting!

Could I live with 35 mpg though? Might add the adjustable dampers and sunroof as the cost is that low!
£337 per month with the DCC option.

Very tempted to sign up for this.

I'm averaging low 40's on a 4x4 diesel vrs so there cant be too much in it real world - looks a good offer, i'm paying just over £300 on a PCP set at 20k p.a with a small deposit (albeit its a late registered pre-facelift car)

I’ve a 15 plate diesel vRS that I’m paying £330 per month on a 3+35 for 20k per year. It will do 55mpg on a stready cruise I’d hope to see 35-40mpg on a gently driven 245.

Based on what I've read , I've decided to add DCC to my order, the option to soften things up a little sounds worthwhile as I'll have two little ones in the car a lot of the time.

How much extra a month is it with the dcc?

It was an extra £21.50 pm so in total an extra £623.50 over the term.

Thanks for that. I think this is probably the only optional extra I'll go for other than paint.

I'd recommend a test drive as I didn't find the car needed DCC to soften things up.

Did you drive the DSG or manual? How was the ride, the reviews say it's quite fidgety on poor roads..

I'm sold on the DCC now, I like the idea of being able to tune it to suit your mood.

I drove a manual, once I got the seating position right I found the car quite smooth and refined, it felt a lot better then the diesel VRS I drove a couple years back. My test drive was limited to a quick blast around town and some dual carriageway.
Its replacing a 2016 520d M Sport Tourer so was more interested in just making sure it was a decent drive and able to put the power down without clawing its way up the road with torque steer.

Based on the suggestions earlier in the thread I went to Paul at Horton Skoda - very efficient, no haggling and took me from a general enquiry to a confirmed order with two phonecalls and a couple of emails - all done and dusted in less than 3 hours

Slightly less for you then over the term at £616. Are you going for it?

I’m test driving a car tomorrow and will decide afterwards. Not sure if the test car has DCC fitted.

I'm pondering changing from standard red to meteor grey or a metallic. Not sure I really want the bright red shouty 'look at me' approach.

For those of you who added paint to your lease, what was the cost impact?

On the quotes I had, metallic was £9 pm from one place and £13 a month from the other.

I’d have had that bright metallic green the normal vRS is available in if the option was there biggrin
