I've had no reply from Paul for 2 days, so guessing he's away if others rate him.
Not had any good sales service from a Skoda dealer yet. Best deal from NVS for the red with no options for £5984.65 over the 2 years.
Was that DSG? Also did you phone up or just get a quote from the website? Not had any good sales service from a Skoda dealer yet. Best deal from NVS for the red with no options for £5984.65 over the 2 years.
The test car was a DSG hatch without DCC. It was fast and sounded good especially at high revs. Something I’d forgotten about driving a diesel for 11 years! Not sure how much of the sound was real or through an attenuator though, I’ll need to take one through a tunnel.
The ride didn’t feel too harsh but I didn’t drive that far. I’ll still opt for it though as £17 per month isn’t a deal breaker. It felt nice and quick, making my TDi feel sluggish on the drive home.
The interior is very nice, the gloss black trim, improved touch screen and colour trip computer making my 2015 vRS seem very dated. Seats are fantastic.

I've got a VRS230 DSG estate on lease which ends in May 2018. It's been a good if unspectacular car but it ticks all the boxes as an every day car with useful performance.
I was thinking of replacing it with a Golf GTI as I no longer need an estate but I'm tempted by the VRS245 hatch.
I've had 3 Skodas with DSG but this current one (the other have been diesels, one a VRS) has a hesitation on take up which can be really quite dangerous when trying to get out of a junction quickly. For this reason and the very annoying 'fart' I think i might go for a manual this time.
Does anyone know if the seven speed DSG still has the fart and does it hesitate off the line?
Cheers
Jon

Done a PCH deal with my local dealer, Manual Red Hatch, 8k miles per year. £1000 + 23x £202
Was that with any optional extras? Also what's the delivery time on that? I haven't had confirmation yet but have been told last week of Feb, first week March so 19-20 weeks from now.

Just to let you know I spoke to Paul today over the phone and he said he didn't get my email so maybe he didn't get yours either? He's great to deal with over the phone and I'm gonna give him a call back tomorrow and ask him a couple more things before I make a decision. Not had any good sales service from a Skoda dealer yet. I was told he is on leave until Thursday and a colleague would give me a price today or tomorrow. Gassing Station | Audi, Seat, Skoda & VW | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
