The Audi A6 leasing and general discussion page
Discussion
I haven't seen a dedicated Audi A6 thread so I thought I would start one.
I recently ordered one via the fantastic lease deal that appeared at the end of November so will have a bit of a wait to actually get the car. I'm hoping to get it around May 18 to join up with the time of my Passat Alltrack going back.
I haven't even had the chance to go look at an A6 yet, and I've never even sat in one, let alone take one for a test drive. But that's what happens with lease deals - buy now, and ask questions later is the motto of many of us on here!
So let us know what you ordered and pretty much anything else to do with the A6. Doesn't have to be leasing specific - would be good to get some real world owner opinion on the car.
My car will be the Avant, S-Line, black paint and grey seating selected. No options selected. I went with the sports suspension (default option) rather than the S Line suspension. As far as I understand, the SE suspension is called dynamic and is the most comfortable. The sports suspension is 20mm lower and is less comfortable but a bit tighter and the S Line suspension a further 10mm lower and a bit tighter/harder again. I wasn't sure what to pick so I just left it at the middle one, the sports suspension.

Can everyone post up what they got and for how much, as lots of us been given varied quotes. In my haste, I nearly ordered a poverty spec SE with 'paid for' folding mirrors, they also wanted to charge me for road tax, for almost the cost of what the S Line would have been on the deal launch day, luckily I saw sense before I pulled the trigger after some research and taking a breather.
I ordered my Saloon 1.8 S Line on Friday at the slightly higher price (£12/month more), than what it was on the launch day (Thurs), as he was unable to honor the previous cheaper pricing.
Audi A6 S-line saloon
FREE : Solid Black (changed it from black, white and then back to black again .. blame the mrs!) with Black full leather interior.
FREE : Debadged rear
FREE : S-line suspension
9+23 @ £184 a month on a 5k profile
May delivery requested to coincide with the return of my Passat Alltrack as well, only went for the estate Alltrack as it was rude not to for the price they were giving them away (absolutely love it!), so trying a saloon this time for a change. I do wish it was a Black Edition with all the extra trimmings (the alloys for one, on the BE really lifts the car, but that's just me taking liberties as I don't like to pay the going rate lol.)
I popped into my local Audi dealership to get a feel for the car, but once they figured I have already ordered elsewhere, didn't entertain me to even take a nosey, lesson learnt to be 'econmical' with the truth next time!
The Avant is a very nice looking estate, high five to another 2 years of cheap motoring

I enquired Thu and then again Fri by the bluechilli website form and got a call on Fri afternoon so not sure if I got the Thu deal or Fri deal. Mine is avant s line at £237 On 3+23 for 5k miles.
I took this screenshot and I think this was the deal at it's cheapest point? £157 9+23 5k miles for the se saloon.

Anyone had any paperwork since signing up for the deal and sending the agency contract back along with the other few forms.
Not heard anything but when I rang them to change the color, I was advised finance has been approved, nothing since.

Thanks for making this thread, Soupdragon1.
The kumquat was very unhappy with me on the Thursday shortly after it was released. I've not sat in an A6 before (had plenty of A4s from Hertz over the years though).
I am delighted with the deal - I am moving from a 2015 Mercedes C250 AMG estate to this (around end of April). I love the Mercedes but it's just too expensive in comparison to whats available now and goes back early May.
I am planning to move home in the next 12 months, and affordability is key to that mortgage application.
I was actually considering just taking a punt on 2 years in a cheap Golf or something, so I'm delighted I'll still have a lot of space!
Anyway, fisted without hesitation was an A6 SE Exec saloon in boggo black.
With low cost my main driver, I have not chosen any options (but requested FOC black leather and model designation deletion).
3+23 @ 179.56 inc VAT.
Thats a 33k car for total 5028.56 incl fees over two years.
During the process I was hesitant about SE Exec vs S-Line.
Most cars in the past have been S-Line, M-Sport, or AMG Line for example - I prefer sportier appearance.
But on this occasion, and for only 2 years while the house move progresses, I simply went low cost. Not very PH, but in just 2 years time I can look for the car I want, not a daily driver like the A6.

Yes I had the same - was getting concerned but yesterday I received an email stating the car is on order (and expected within 17-18 weeks) along with an invoice for their fee.Not heard anything but when I rang them to change the color, I was advised finance has been approved, nothing since.

Just been playing with config tool over at Audi's website, they have now removed the 'auto-fold' mirrors which was standard on the S-LINE last week and now replaced with non foldable ones (standard on the SE), what a bummer as I would have paid for them if they were not included! Wonder if the car has been specced up and ordered prior to this unwelcomed change.

Good timing then, looks like you got the deal at it's cheapest price. £5k for a £33k car is about 15% ish so thats one of the cheapest lease deals ever. How much was the Mercedes lease out of interest? The kumquat was very unhappy with me on the Thursday shortly after it was released. Good work on the group Soupdragon!
I’m also an “Alltracker” but nothing like the super value offers some people got, ‘only’ £290 on a 3+23.
Will miss the huge boot if I can get into the A6!
I’m incredibly tentative that I’ve been miss-quoted and they aren’t going to honour.
A6-Avant, S-Line, solid Black, SE suspension, black leather, £219 on a 3+23, 13k (!)
I don’t want to shout too loud from my soapbox as i’m hoping they honour the deal. But i’ve Been told the finance was ‘rejected’ and to contact Experian. Turns out we’ve been living in our new home for 18 months but aren’t on the electoral role(!)
We have definitely voted from this address previously so this is all very confusing.
Also, there was no credit check showing even though it had apparently (just) failed.
Negatively thinking, I feel they’ve accidentally under quoted and haven’t even attempted to progress it.
Positively thinking the finance company didn’t even do a check as it bounced back on the electoral role soft search (if there is such a thing)
Any thoughts?

Cracking price! Best to see what happens when the docs come from the funder. I suspect it’s Lex. A6-Avant, S-Line, solid Black, SE suspension, black leather, £219 on a 3+23, 13k (!)

To add to your question about credit check, my finance was approved BUT incidentally I use Noddle to check my credit file. No search Recorded by anyone in the last few months.
Yesterday I received a letter from Equifax to tell me my data was leaked earlier in the year and I can have their full services for free. So I checked Equifax yesterday, no credit searches recorded again. So either Lex are incredibly trusting in their potential customers (Lex are part of Lloyd’s Banking group) or they use the other credit reference agency Experian!

£350pm roughly, 10k Miles 6+35. It’s a really great car (has been ideal for our Now 2 year old and the endless crap to carry). I set out for a high-spec diesel estate and it did not disappoint. Service costs a tad high steep (300+500) and tyres a small fortune too.
Thanks Soupdragon.
I've ordered an A6 Saloon 3+23 £211.74 5k per year.
Brilliant Black, debadged at rear, Lunar Silver interior.
Filled in Blue Chilli's Documents.
Waiting for the documents to come through from Lex, but nothing to say that the credit check has failed, so it should be alright.
What mileage are you on Phleaser?
