I emailed them this morning. They've apologised for the oversight and are refunding the outstanding balance. Now to wait another two weeks...
Oversight...my ar$e! More like trying it on to see what they can get away with. Wouldn't be ordering through them again...Edited by Clyde_05 on Monday 8th January 11:52
Just to now confirm that GBV have returned my £360 fee, like others have stated they returned this to my account that the finance was set up against and not the credit card that I originally paid with.
This looks to be the end of it now and I do feel for BGV a bit as they have really been shafted. They could have been a little more pro-active in returning the deposits but I believe they were hoping something would come up that they could offer for everyone who has missed out.

There are some rumours that Lex are putting together a 4 series deal for those embroiled in the A6 scandal. Only rumours at this stage.. if anyone has any Comms with Lex, may be worth asking about it.
I'd be interested in this but I doubt they will. I've received £100 compensation so surely they would have offered the deal instead of that? Can't see them offering both!I’d rather have an XF R SPORT than the millionth A4.
Funny how we were all an A6 family once upon a time and have now gone our separate ways lol
Still don’t know what I will end up with when my current lease expires in due course, the uncertainty is sort of exciting.

Anybody who has dealt with Blue Chilli or GBV got an email from askacar.com saying "thanks for your inquiry into buying an A6, we will contact you soon" - have a feeling these muppets have passed over my details as I have not requested this.
Will call them tomorrow and find out what's going on, can't be Lex trying to buy me a new A6 as a gesture of goodwill?

I'm escalating my A6 complaint to BVRLA and the ombudsman, nothing to loose, and I have plenty of time on my hands, the bloke from their customer resolution team who rang me seemed like someone on their first day to work! clueless, not confident in his argument and thoroughly robotic.
I signed the Lex paperwork but they didn't countersign it, despite sending it over days before the deal got pulled.
These brokers have learnt a valuable lesson, if they are to promote cheap deals, they need to get the contracts countersigned ASAP to catch the cat in the bag, not hang around for weeks on end.
