Their 'marketing guy' dropped a massive clanger in the Best Lease thread - joined up pretending to be a regular member and started pushing links to Blue Chilli and Smart Leasing Solutions which I guess is one of their other businesses. One of the members found his Twitter and then LinkedIn which revealed who he worked for and it looks like he's been offed from the forums...
It's one thing to post, "Hi, I'm xxxxx from XYZ - let me know if I can help.." but to actively try and drive business from the forum without revealing any affiliation is rather too sneaky for my liking...
Agreed, but the guy looked very young and I didn’t find the deal through him, I’m not overly bothered by it tbh, just an employee getting carried away is my take on it. The company itself is 9yrs old and looks healthy, so I’m happy dealing with them. Anyone tempted by these black editions
I did think about it but 20’ wheels will make it an uncomfortable ride and not really fussed by tinted windows and piano black dash.... My finance got approved today...
Certainly not for me if I can get the deal I’ve been offered tied down. I wonder if I can get a similarly competitive quote on upgrading to BE with BCC?
I went for the a6 BE saloon with cvl as I missed the boat with BLue Chillies (what a name!) . That 145 headline SE deal was an absolute bargain and the rest of you get a corker of a deal too!
The alloys do look nice on the BE but extra care needed to ensure they don’t get kerbed, didn’t know whether to choose s line suspension considering the size of the mammoth wheels so left it at the default sports suspension.
Should look something like this , overall, happy with it.

Hi all - thought I would join in with a pic of the A6 I'm renting for two years, fresh after a detail last week.
It's a 2.0TDI BE quattro saloon with met paint. Have owned since August and ran it in five days after collection with a trip to Nuremberg for a friend's wedding.
Detailing by Divine Detail in Coulsdon.

Very nice.Did Divine Detail do the work at your place or do they have their own premises. I always wonder whether I could make a go of detailing, even if just as a part time profession. Although looking at weather like today makes me think it would really need to be indoors...
Chap (Ed) does at his home (with garage) although I believe he says he can travel too.
On my previous car, an A1, I had it detailed here in Easter 2011 near Rochdale, who I would also recommend for our Northern based readers.

They've matched the deal Car Leasing Online deal offered to me (bar a penny).
They've asked me pay another arrangement fee though of a further £360, and then they've brought down the profile to £260.59 on a 3+23, 10000 miles a year. The total would be 2 x £360 + £6775.24 = £7495.34 i.e a penny more expensive than Car Leasing Online
I have asked though that if they cannot source the car for any reason will they refund the 2 lots of arrangement fees?
I'm not a suspicious soul, i just think that it is better to be safe than sorry.
If/when I have this in writing i'll be putting pen to paper and ordering the BE with them.
Its more for the Bose than anything, I used to have Harmon Kardon in a Mini Cooper S and it sounded fantastic.
I hope i'm not comparing apples and oranges?

I was thinking of doing the same too. Mostly for the Bose system but 20 rims will look good - just hope they don't ruin the ride. I don't like the steering wheel, no need for it as i prefer a round one and will cost £200 via the heated steeringwheel to get shot of it. 20's don't ruin the ride, even with the s-line sports suspension (Not sure if still called the same on latest MY), mine rides about the same on the 20" rotors as the 18" winters, its firm but not crashyJust looking at the free colours and rims for the Black Edition.
