Started a quest to buy the 19 inch Le Mans wheels that were, I understand, an option on my car when new but am now more confused than when I intially started.

I am being told by my garage and main dealer that I must stick with the 18s it came with but wife has just bought an A5 cabriolet with 19s and the difference in ride is growing on me. I have seen any number of identical cars with the 19 inch wheel upgrade so I assume it is possible!

I will need for new tyres and refurb at MOT so this may be the best time to upgrade!

Can anyone please confirm the part numbers and Offset of the correct wheel that I need?

I find Audi parts departments are usually a good resource for this type of thing.

Funnily enough, not in this case, not unless I buy from them. Their policy is not to provide/confirm part numbers etc!

A branch of TPS will be able to confirm new price and part numbers for you; grab a reg number from a Le Mans on Autotrader if you need.

The 48 offset is obviously specific to the year as there appear to be different offsets.

Have been offered some ET45 but turned them down as hanging out for the ET48s.

Have just been offered a lovely set of 8.5j x19H2ET45 wheels from an RS4! The offset on the 19 options for my car are ET48. My current wheels 8.0Jx18H2ET43....will they fit. As far as I can see they will and will be a better fit!

Am I right?
