Glow plug yellow warning light flashing

I’ve had that code come up with a few other things with radiator fan code etc. Turned out to be the inlet valve stuck wide open (butterfly valve) and would not close when the engine was off. It also blew f8 fuse if I recall right. Not sure if similar to yours but does link to airflow.
A quick search on google points also to the EGR valve with your code.

The guy in the forum saying he had black smoke out the exhaust, but I don't have this, I think it might not be same problem?A quick search on google points also to the EGR valve with your code.

Hello,
I have a Skoda Fabia 1.9 TDI from 2005 and have the same glowing dashboard. The problem is that gas pedal seems to not function anymore when the glowiing is on, while the engine is going to 1250 RPM and stay at constant RPM no matter what I do with gas pedal...
I checked on internet and this glowing intermitent dashboard appear to be a "brake light switch" defect to Skoda. Then I went to Skoda service for diagnosis. They say diagnosis show it is a brake light switch problem"" and a "gas pedal" problem and they offered to change brake switch AND the gas pedal. The eror is not permanent, it come and go... The gas pedal problem is only present when the brake light switch error is on. But here I have one quiestion: is it possible to have 2 different problems and one appear only when the other one is on? I mean: Is it really a gas pedal problem too? Or the car gets into the limphome mode and gas pedal is inhibited due to brake light switch problem? What do you think I sould do? I was considering to ask to change just the brake light switch and see if the problem with limited RPM still exists. Am I wrong?

The flashing glow plug light happened to us in our 2006 A6 2.7TDI on the way back from Yorkshire last autumn just before it’s service and MOT. It only came on for that journey and stayed off after that.
I mentioned it to our Indy mechanic. Turned out it was a split second drop in fuel pressure, possibly due to bad diesel. That happened to coincide with me filling up on Texaco Supreme from a filling station with one pump [and thereby tank], instead of the usual V-Power.
