Hi folks!

Just going to have a nosey at a 2007 vrs petrol.
I’m unsure of the engine code, but I hear a lot of these had oil pump issues.

Just wondered if there was anybody who’s had any first hand experience of this, or if it was all t’internet nonsense.

If it helps, it’s a belted engine rather than a chain!

The facelifted Mk2 was a 2.0TSI, with the EA888 chain-driven engine from the Mk6 Golf GTI. These had more issues than the earlier Mk5 engined version.
