Skoda Octavia 2.0TFSI ownership experiences

Hello all

Second child is on the way so I'm looking for an estate. I'm thinking of an Octavia VRS. Got about 5k to spend so looking at 80k mile 56 plate Octavias on Autotrader at the moment. Questions I have are how reliable are these cars? Are there any things to look out for when viewing and what sort of running costs can I expect?

Pretty much the same as a Mk5 Golf GTI. They're quite widely documented so worth looking up some past threads. Overall pretty solid if they're looked after properly.
