OP, what is the ride like please, does it ride the bumps OK?
Very good, but remember I'm coming from a Scirroco R so don't read too much into my opinion. It can feel a little crashy with bi potholes and the 19s but its absolutely fine for me. It rides speed bumps very well which is a good job as there are st loads round my way. Spent a bit more time with the car today (50 miles) so starting to get more of a feel for it, the more I drive it the more impressed I become.
I do have one issue the wing mirrors have stopped folding in when I lock the car, any idea how I can fix this?
Looks very smart. Looking forward to mine arriving now!
Re. wing mirrors, check if you’re using the same key as settings will be linked to that. Check car settings then in car to find if ‘fold mirrors when locked’ option is ticked. At least that’s all based on my Skoda vRS but similar VAG setup I’d imagine.

Yep the Avant would prove useful but the Octavia hatchback's boot is actually bigger which is quite amazing really.
I didn't have any info given to me about how it was being delivered. I live quite close to London (within the M25) so I'm not sure if that'll make a difference one way or the other. A trailer delivery would be pretty cool though. When my M135i arrived back in 2014 on a trailer is was nice seeing it alongside another one and being reversed off the truck with only about 10 miles on the clock.

Any one know if you can switch off keyless entry on the car? I've seen some info that suggests you can and option under settings > central locking > convenience key but not sure if enabled on UK car? Also anyone know what steering lock will fit I was looking at Stoplock Pro? I'm a bit worried as a number of keyless entry thefts in my area last few months neighbour across road had his car nicked few months back off the drive, they seem to be targeting new cars rather than fast stuff.
Cheers

Did you option keyless entry specifically? I don't believe it's standard - I've only seen 'keyless go' on the spec sheet when searching online which just means you have a start/stop button in the car but you'll still need to use the fob to unlock it.Cheers
