Blimey, how much does the two year service cost?! I'll need to look at this approach too if it's a bonkers price!

They only wanted £129 to early terminate I was surprised.

Wowsers, that is cheap! Probably due to the bonkers residuals on second hand cars due to the pandemic I suppose, so they'll be eying a tidy profit at auction. I'm not sure the Cupra Leon boot will suffice for a family with two kids under 5 but I'm sorely tempted for double the Bhp!

Thread bump! How's everyone getting on with their A4's?

I'm still sub 6k miles on the clock which makes me pleased I didn't take a bigger allocation (originally worked on the assumption I'd pay the extra as previously did 12k p/a)! One service late December as Audi called me suggesting it although to this day not sure I needed it as it never appeared on the dash?

It goes back in less than 6 months and currently struggling like mad to find a suitable replacement for anywhere near a similar price. Spoke to ALD, who despite their poor reviews and sentiment on here, found really helpful.

They won't extend formally, but offered up to 90 day informal extension at the average daily cost of the total lease. I have the 40TSI with optional grey, which makes it £9.23 p/day, or £270 odd p/month. No commitment and if I get something new in that time they only charge for days until agreed pick up. I also pushed him on how rigid that 90 days is, and sounded like they'd flex further if you needed given current climate!

All in all, think I'll roll this to March until I can find a reasonable X3 / F pace / XC60 for less than £400 p/month with a spec worth having!!
I’m leaning towards buying a used car at the end of term (v8?) as nothing decent on the lease front for similar money.

Still happy with the Audi and appreciate the quality every time it goes for a run, it’s practically new under 7k miles and the rear seats have only been used a handful of times if that.

Only issues I had were the driver side lock/unlock switch needing replacement as became unresponsive which was sorted under warranty, alternator recall and a software update to sort out the MMI freezing other than that I’ve loved it and a bargain IMO for a car of this spec (S tronic Black Edition with comfort and sound pack)

If an option is anyone going to buy this from the lease company before auction? I enquired with VW/Central Leasing on my previous lease who wanted £17.5k for my 2016 Golf GTI, 20k miles and only 30 months old at the time which in hindsight was a good deal and wouldn’t have cost me much in depreciation with used values on them doing so well.

My ALD/Infinity 2yr A4 ends in December 2021.

How soon can I request to extend the term/deal?

If as above they only offer the 90 days flex will their position change in a month our so or is that a fixed decision based on their numbers?

Nothing out there comes close to this deal, I would be happy to keep this for another 12 months.

Have they agreed to let you have a further 90 days? Did you contact ALD direct?

No Have not contacted or spoken to them.

Jaymo above has and ALD have hinted at an extension of up to 90 days.

I just rang ALD the automatically offer a 90 day extension works out about £290 a month but I can cancel it at any point in the 90 days.

I also asked about returning the car early and there’s be no additional charge.

Does anyone know if the 19s on the black edition are diamond cut alloys?

They said they’d be £90 a wheel or £55 for standard which I though was reasonable. Managed to get the prices in an an email aswell just in case there’s a dispute when I return the car.

Hopefully this is helpful they ALD were really good over the phone

Interesting stuff - no charge to return the car early at all? Might be worth me looking at any stock deals too then to replace the car and avoid the second service which will be due in December.

The wife curbed two wheels too. Not too badly, but good to hear ALD seem like they're not brutal on the charges. Not quite as good as VWFS though which charge £36 per wheel.

I have damaged all four wheels and have put about 20k on the car!

Interesting to know about the early cancellation but cannot see a better or even similar deal out there to be had.

Would love a Q4 e-tron!

Audi, although little dull it's a lovely place to sit.

Yeah I’m the same I’m going to keep mine until Feb now with the 90 day extension. It’s does bore me to tears I must admit but can say it’s a bad care just very dull.

From ALD ref the late hire period of up to 90 days beyond the contract term of two years..............

The cost for damage to the alloys is £50 per wheel for normal alloys or £90 per wheel for diamond cut alloys.

Thank you for getting in touch with us today .This email is to confirm we are able to authorise unofficial late hire of vehicle registration XXXXXX

Your daily late hire charge will be £7.69 (plus VAT).

Please note this is based on the TOTAL payments made over the lease (including your initial rental) so will appear to be more than your monthly rentals.

The rim is diamond cut on the black ed with rotor wheels, the other black ed wheel options have IIRC diamond cut spokes.

Seen some a6 “deals” (using the term loosely based on how little is out there for this vfm) that are Audi loyalty offers. Anyone know if we are eligible for these as a result of this lease?
Something like this would replace this nicely:

I'm not sure if we'd qualify for Audi loyalty deals as I presume we'd need our current leases to be funded by VWFS. As our lease is from ALD I think it'd not be available to us. I might be wrong though so worth a try.

I'm struggling to find anything at the moment to replace our current A4 Avant deal. I did find a good deal on a Cupra Leon Estate 300 for £3k down, £250 p/m for 36 months but the deal was pulled after I'd applied and they'd not honour my quote. Would've been an idea moer fun replacement. Maybe something similar will crop up this autumn but lead times are mental so I might be looking for last minute stock deals at this rate.

I'm reviewing my options of getting out of my lease early, 1 year into a 3 year deal. It's a 2l diesel supplied by Audi Birmingham. 295 per month 10k per annum, just had its first service yesterday so if anyone wants to consider taking it over let me know.

It’s going to cost about £3500 to early termination. Odd that it’s needed a service after a year. Audi lease cars are usually on long life service schedules
