just put my 2008 / v8 / r8 in for service , audi said rear wishbones worn , need new ones & bearings etc , they said audi will put £2800 & i have to pay £3000 (total £5,800).
seems very high , but audi are saying they will put some because they have upgraded and i cant get the older / smaller ones ?
do you think that's correct ?

Unless you have full Audi SH and you want to keep it that way then youre hooked, otherwise try an Independent specialist, seems you can get after market OEM rear wishbones for much less that what theyre asking for plus at an indie the labour charges should be much cheaper too.

Do Meyle make an HD version part that'll fit? Prob the best option for aftermarket, if they do.

Have you spoken to Nangengast? I'm sure I've read that they rebuild the R8 V8 wishbones.

Shame these are different to the V10 units.
