SQ7 vs 3lt TDi
Discussion
Hi - just after a biota feedback...
I bought a Q7 55 TDi and the initial hesitation is driving me nuts, even with the start-stop turned off or in dynamic/sports mode. Given the car is under warranty, i'm not really keen to look at trying to chip the thing to try and circumvent it.
I was wondering if the SQ7 has the same sort of hesitation or if it's more akin to a decent petrol engine and has decent pick-up from the go?
or has anyone gone from an Audi to Merc GLE...?

I have an SQ7 and it just...goes...from low revs.
However mine is pre-WLTP and I suspect this behaviour on the 55 is related so you might be best to try a WLTP version of the SQ7 to see if it has the same issue. However the electric compressor is there for boost from tickover so there's a good chance it will be better.
