Kit was from amazon but I paid way too much for it. Can be had for around £50-£60 off ebay (search 4G0052133G)
Plenty of videos on YouTube showing you how to remove and install the lights. Bear in mind these can only be fitted to the two front doors, rear doors do not have the standard footwell lighting (although you can mod the fixtures on if you wanted)
Just bear in mind that you will need to use a bit of force to get the lights out, I have slightly cracked the driver side one as it was so tightly wedged into the door, but it eventually came out. This thread helped a lot (https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a4-b9-platform-discussion-212/puddle-lights-2912450/page3/)
All in all it took me about 10 minutes max as you're literally changing the light fixture as if it went out and needed replacing, plug and play so no coding required. You can do a test run on the light that's on the inside of the boot lid, has the same size and fixtures and it's a lot easier to remove.
Next step is to remove the silver audi rings install some blacked out ones on the front.
Happy to answer any questions on this!

Got the kit but the weather hasn't been the best for applying vinyl. Maybe I'll wait until its not as cold and windy. Had a quote from a few garages and it was around £300 which I cannot justify as it'll all be coming off in 2 years when the car goes back.
How much was the kit mate? Thanks for sharing the light mod too - checked it out on youtube and such an easy swap! Much allrecisted.Look forward to the de-chroming update!

How does everyone find the standard stereo? Mine is finally being built this week after ordering in July
Wow! That's a long wait time. My order was July as well, delivered on the 15th Jan.Stereo is fine for me, a big step up from the new Focus I had, although that might mean my expectations were low.
Is anyone having problems hard-wiring/running a dashcam?
I have a Vantrue N4. Hard wiring it, I get no power at all reaching the camera. Plugging into the cigarette lighter, I get some power, but not enough to keep it running even while driving, it turns itself off and on again. I've tested it in a different car to make sure it's not the hard wiring kit, or the camera.
If anyone has got this working - which fuse did you hard wire to?

It’s ok. Not as good as the standard one in my v90 it replaced. Just checked and it only has 8 speakers compared to the 10 my 2017 a4 Avant had on the standard system

There was this thread on another forum hard wiring a dash cam in a new A6, might be similar: https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/dashcam-inst...I have a Vantrue N4. Yes its the 35tdi
It’s doing a particle burn in that case. You can tell when the cars doing it when driving as the revs stay at 1000 if you stop. If you’re doing long journeys I wouldn’t worry, if you’re doing lots of short journeys it will eventually clog up. I park mine up mid burn regularly and never have an issue but I regularly do 50 mile plus trips.Man this Audi stressing me out. Just got a audi drive system light come on.
This light

From the Web seems like a common problem, issues from coils to misfiring to temp sensors.
Booked in to an Audi in March yes that's the earliest then can do.

Audi assist will come out if you ring them, they’ll plug in to your car and tell you what the fault is. If it’s your DPF they may be able to force a burn but if it’s gone beyond the point of no return it’ll need a trip to the dealers.
Surley cant be DPF only had the car for 8 weeks and only done 800 miles on the clock so still spanking new.Car drives but light has poped up twice this week but clears when you switch engine off then on again.
Not had chance to use car due to current climate.

Get Audi Assist out and they’ll tell you what it is. My A6 refused to start a few months ago, I turned the ignition off then back on again and it started, I called them out, they plugged into the car and told me what the fault was. They couldn’t fix it but they told me what was wrong, I still had to get it booked in.
Is this the Audi assist number 0800 699 999 ? Seems to take me through to AA. Gassing Station | Audi, Seat, Skoda & VW | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
