First quote just came back £410pm for an extra 12 months. £50 less pm which I pay now. Very happy and going to take them up on it

Excellent mate. Mine were all 12 month requests and came out as follows as part of the first quote request
no additional mileage £309
extra 5k miles £329
extra 10k miles £352
current payment £375

Going with option 2 as the car has way less than 10k miles currently so the chances of getting anywhere near 25k miles by Sept 2023 is slim to none.

Wow what are you paying at the moment? Seeing as mine is on 18k already and I had 8k a year on my deal that may of effected my quote?

Sorry if this has been asked before but did you have your quotes all at once? And if not how long do they last for?

I think I’m sticking with the quote I got. Even if I go about 4k miles over it’s only 9p a mile extra so this works out best. Especially in the current climate to get a quote cheaper than what I’m paying now is good for me.

Edit: realised you are paying £375, is that for the Touareg BE? That’s a fantastic deal if so.

Yeah black edition with the higher powered diesel no options in white. Current mileage is 8,600 and the 2 years is up in Sept 2022. Quotes are valid for 30 days. This is my first round of quotes all asked for as part of one request.

If you are happy with the quote go with it - the next one might be more expensive!

Damn I had no idea you could ask for multiple quotes in one. Oh well lesson learned

Just go back on the email trail and ask for other options

I've now been told December delivery having ordered in early July last year, absolute joke. Going to cancel but only if the broker will give my admin fee back which up until now have been resisting even though I signed up for October delivery last year. Might see if I can get a Defender 110 from somewhere, maybe used. Fed up of waiting now and I am 99% certain they'll cancel the order anyway!

I even think Dec is unlikely if you look at the production line shutdowns and parts issues. I recently cancelled a GTI CS that was ordered as part of a batch by Inchape in June 2021. I took the deal with Arval early Jan 2022 on the premise of end of June delivery. It then moved to July, September, November and now early 2023.

I suspect cars for customers on PCP via dealerships are being prioritised over lease vehicles. No proof of that just a suspicion.

We extended our current Touareg for £329 a month but I am keeping this one on order. The extension takes us through to Sept 2023 and at this rate, the other Touareg might only arrive a few months before that in which case they can hold it. Can see it happening!

My opinion is the same. Doesn't seem too difficult to get hold of one if you want to buy it. I might keep the order open and either buy something fun, or a Cayenne/X5 to run around in for the rest of this year. We could really do with a bigger car now and I am interested to see whether it ever arrives/they honour the deal now! The joys of leasing in 202*...

VWFS claim they will honour the deal, but seeing as they can now sell them without the huge incentives why would they. Also huge demand for the higher margin models that share parts.

Also they have to offset every ICE car with an electric one to save on EU fines.

Interesting that VW just released a 20th Anniversary Edition Touareg for deliveries in June.

Blimey, I knew they were behind but only just delivering 2002 cars seems a little slow biggrinlaugh

We ordered a BE 286 tdi (paid extra for grey paint) in Jan 22 originally for July/Aug delivery.
Now being told not before Jan 23 by lease company.

Reading this thread it might be June 23 🤨🤨………

I ordered direct through VW earlier this year as they advised they had an allocated stock order placed in May 2021…. No positive news since - I conclude the vehicle won’t arrive this year and as time slips on and the next Touareg refresh gets closer the more my interest also slips away…

I get where your coming from but I'm less fussed about the mid life refresh. If it was a new model I would definitely bail out. Styling tweaks front and back and a refreshed colour palate and the big screen as standard are all I expect. Prices will of course go up and the lease deals now are way above what we have all agreed to so given the black edition is fully loaded anyway im inclined to stick I think.

Most credible image I can find of the facelift front

Just as I’d given up hope I got this from VW dealer, I’ll probably go for it and get rid of the 840 as timing works well and I don’t fancy driving another winter with it. Not sure about the moonlight metallic on the Touareg but should look ok

‘I’ve found a Touareg Black Edition in Moonlight Blue Metallic which is confirmed for production and due to arrive with us approx August/September, I just wanted to let you know in case you’d like to swap to that rather than the Silicon Grey? The scheduled build date on your original order is now showing as April next year!!’
