Oil service warning message Tiguan

Anyone know how to clear it, all on youtube show using the 0.0 and start buttons, I don't have 0.0 on this model, you've to go through the settings menu to clear the trip mileage, can't find anything in settings or the handbook on how to clear it.
Only 9 months old, due to covid couldn't get the car until July, I think someone must have set something when it arrived at the dealers just days prior to the first lockdown.

If it was PDI’d and registered in March then that’s when the 12 months starts from for the service. Resetting it yourself adds another 12 months which then makes it out of sync.
If it was registered in July it’s probably as you said been set on arrival and then sat there. A dealer would be able to set it with a back date so it will count down correctly.

Dealer no use at all, they want to have the car left outside, you can't enter the building and wait, come back in 4 hours time, it's a joke.
I don't really care if it's out of sync right now, last week I got an email, the car system booked itself an oil service for next week, we don't do courtesy cars while we're in this situation, that was swiftly cancelled, I was then told the system should only be set up by the salesperson on the day of getting the car and not at PDI time.

sorted? with the digital dash they've hidden alot of menu's still trying to find the alarm/ ferry mute for on a 2020 Passat.

Did get it sorted from another website, I had tried searching Youtube but didn't find that one.
Yes we had one Bora with the switch on the B pillar and the next one didn't, must say it's something we never needed though.
I'm certain there must be loads of setttings hidden away in the menus, we didn't know existed.
