Hi all, just realised my PCP inconveniently ends one month after the 3 year mark (suspecting the dealer might have massaged the duration to achieve lower monthlies at the time).

This means a new round of insurance, road tax, MOT and the risk of things fail just outside of the 3 year warranty. I know most of these are refundable, but just can't be bothered with the hassles. Is it possible to return the car a month eelier given I'm wiling to pay the final monthly instalment?

P.S. in case it matters, no I won't have paid more than 50% of the overall PCP value.

That's to pay the car off?

The car is in negative equity now with dealer bidding price, so will only hand the car back physically.

Look at your finance agreement, you are eligible for voluntary termination of it once 50% of the financed amount is repaid. With a PCP, this is typical a few months before the end of the term. It will enable you to walk away without further cost (subject to the condition and mileage of the vehicle). This will all be specified in the agreement.
