Where to find obselete car parts - german websites ?

Good Morning,

I am having a real pain sourcing a rear spoiler brake light/rear spoiler for a lupo gti.

I have attempted to contact some people on ebay, checked TPS and now need to turn elsewhere, perhaps germany would have a used or new part.

All this for a cracked spoiler brake light that doesnt work..

1 on ebay for is £1100 which is obscene ! thats the only one i can find

Does anyone use any good websites that i can contact for hard to find parts.

Another option would be to try a breakers search site like this:

I used it a few years ago and it took a day or two for some breakers to get back to me, but I did find what I was after.

2nd link was no joy its an old ad,

1st link not answering maybe due to covid sent an enquiry though and 3rd link all signed up..

Still hopeful..

Worst case the spoiler can be smoothed and sprayed, is there a law r.e high level brake light and not having it ?

So the saga continues - lithuanian site listed the item, ordered, wired them the money then told they dont deal with GB now. offered for them to post to a lithuanian address instead and i could then get it driven to me. they declined. Not sure of this is brexit related or they dont have the part.

Only places now that list the parts are japanese websites and i have using google translate i could potentially order one but never ordered from a website i couldnt fully understand or get my head around. Has anyone ordered any parts from a japanese site that they had to translate ?
