Where did you get the update from? Sounds like I need to chase.

Again, doesn't really mean anything until the status changes to confirmed. Will ask again next month!

I reckon I’ve become one of the unlucky lucky ones to benefit from those who became sick of waiting. I’ve got my name on an Inchscape car with 18’s funded by Arval.

The supplying dealer won’t speak to me as I’ve gone through a broker. So I’m reliant upon them to get updates which are rather vague.

Latest was status 10 anticipated May June. Any thoughts?

Which dealer? - I get no updates from Arval they just tell me to contact the dealer and to be fair the ones in Stockport have been really good when I contact them.

That's bonkers. My 840 lease car is up for sale for 40k at 2.5 years old and 13k miles. Totally different cars I know but that's the first thing that came to my mind.

Hahaha I checked with Arval and they charge the full lease price to duck out early. VWFS only ask for 50% of remaining monthlies. Swines! You also cannot transfer the lease to someone else with Arval either

I asked about early termination when I did the order - cant find the email - it was similar to VWFS from memory - I dont plan on cancelling but I have always done 2 year leases and this was my first 3 year.......... mind you they might have give me the wrong info.

If you find it mate I would be keen to see what it says. I checked as I had a good offer for a A4 avant black edition 40TFSI that I would of taken but not being able to re-assign the lease of the GTI CS ended that idea.

Was unconfirmed 22 in feb, called last week unconfirmed 19. All over the place these orders.

Hopefully you guys get some good news soon. I have only covered 1,700 miles since late Oct and so far have done a few tweaks like the light clusters, black mirror caps and have the R paddles on route. Wrapping the roof in gloss black in a few weeks then I will be happy to leave it alone then. It has loosened up a bit more so it is really nippy but it does struggle to get the power down. You have to feed it in but ironically its part of the fun
