Hi Chaps the cars will currently be model year 23. There are some subtle differences between them. I spoke to Inchcape yesterday who informed me that the car has no allocated build week.

My update this morning;

Good news the vehicle has now been moved over to model year 23 and is now showing a build week of 34 which is the week commencing 22nd August so has moved forward massively. Please be aware this is still subject to change as still to go confirmed but with the model year now changed it shouldn’t now move back anymore (everything Crossed )

So off the back of that I called Inchcape and was told similar, however my car is still unallocated. Was also told they can take 12 weeks to arrive once built! Madness again

if mine was being built at that date and took 12 weeks the timing would be perfect for the end of my current lease that I have extended to end of November

Simon’s car and also some others have been allocated unconfirmed build weeks, mine unfortunately has not.

Granted it’s good news and hope that more will come. Really depressed though floating around in the Mrs company car 2 series active bloody tourer until November at best. Bloody hate that car!

Its like a game of chess trying to land a lease car when you need it! I have 3 on order and now this has moved forward I need to rethink options and go back through the process of deciding which car to go for and if it will work timing wise.

This CS most likely. It was really a toss up of two - either this CS Arval deal or a facelift Focus ST Line Vignale for £214 no deposit on a 3 year lease. I can keep my 8 series till Nov if need be.

CS has got to be nicer than the focus - although ummmmm chase the deal
