Golf R 7.5 Perf. Pack & Akrapovic Exhaust - Collectability?

Hi forum, I have a 2019 Golf R with PP & FF Akrapovič exhaust. Absolutely love it - totally stock with black leather seats and all the usual service history and circa 20K miles. May need to sell it for various reasons. But my other thought is to take off road and store it - as believe it is a very special car - for the sublime handling, pops and bangs.... What do you guys think - future collectable or jut something to dust off and have fun with when in 20 yrs the world is electric and I can add diversity to the EV community with loud bangs from my titanium exhaust pipes?

As much as it’s a nice car, I’m not sure a Golf R can/will ever be considered collectible.

Does yours have leather, panoramic roof and Dynaudio? If so I’d be tempted to keep it if you really like the car as you’re unlikely to find another with such a high spec.

Thanks, yeah it does have the leather, pano roof and audio - only spec like that in uk when bought and dont see many with the exhaust and PP. Think you're right keep it for fun not £££.

Nice car, put it in storage then others won't be forced to listen to your pops and bangs.

maybe if it was 3dr and manual? 2 things you can't get with the mk8 R,
