Hi, hoping someone can point me in the right direction here. I'm looking to get a leather recolour kit to tidy up my interior but can't seem to find out my interior colour code.
I've put my VIN into one of the decoders but it comes back as 'SONDERPOLSTERUNG (Z1XX)' which google tells me is special upholstery. I've been having a look round the internet and seem to have either narrowed it to 'Champagne' or 'Sand Beige' (not sure how accurate the colours are compared to real life!). I'm still at a loss regarding the green piping though, can't find any mention of that anywhere.

First picture I came across with my interior, not the best quality;

Probrably an obvious comment but have you asked a BMW dealer to search with your reg number or vin?

Or just pop the last 7 digits of your vin number in one of the readily available vin decoders easily found on the net. Google is your friend. wink

I did that but it comes up as 'special upholstery' with a generic code, the body colour is the same, it comes back as special colour with the code for black!

Sand beige is favourite, but to be sure I'll send off a sample for the supplier to colour match to, allegedly there should be enough excess underneath the back seat.

Cheers.

Lift up the lower part of the back seat and search around the edge of it for a tightly folded up bit up paper, if it's still there it be the specification to which the interior trimmers had to build the car. It will detail the exact colour codes.
