No they aren't original Griffith rocker covers. They are custom cast by this guy in Ireland.

Hi if i were you i would leave the factory speck rooker covers on as i have had a gent walk away from buying my car cos, my rooker covers are black
That's a really strange reaction. Looking at your profile picture, it's obvious your car is non-standard and to walk away from it because the rocker covers aren't purple seems bizarre....Anyway I have no intention of selling the car, and the original ones will be put into storage. They are pretty tatty and the replacements will make the engine bay look tidier

Hi Colinhttp://jrcast.com/
Do you know if these the taller than standard version to allow you to fit roller rockers without spacers?
Cheers
I haven't got roller rockers so can't comfirm for certain myself. But this was part of the conversation I had with him over email when I was looking in to them, and he was confident they would fit any Rover V8 engine.
"They'll fit fine, the only issue may be the water heater on the manifold if yours has it, there's only a couple of mm clearance but most remove it and bypass it. They have about 68mm inside clearance over the rockers, about 20mm taller than standard ones with the baffles. I've sent a few sets to a fella in Northern Ireland and they fit his race engines with roller rockers no problem."
