I was considering making something like this as a project, it's so simple yet the benefits are so big, a cover would be nice, someone else mentioned about a cover in the above linked PH page

There is a cover available, it is £11 lol.

Annoyingly after paying £38 I've found it with the cap for £40. I only drive the TVR in the dry. I'll see how it goes as it is. I'd rather not the flap-lifting extra inconvenience if I can avoid it - I like how I can practically throw the charging head at it and it self aligns and grabs.

All fitted this morning. Decided to attach a small strip of carbon to my front plate to mount it, rather than drilling the car!

... an that means shutting as wire in your door or running it through the window. The whole point of this is that is is external, isolated when not in use, and you can drive off and it'll just disconnect.
