As a blue owner, obviously I'd say that was the best, but in reference to the op's statement that light colours, specifically white dont suit, I have always found this very appealing.
That looks very muck like my old Griff that I had resprayed in pearlescent white

Jeeze, that's amazing, never thought of that colour before, it makes the car look very contemporary.

It's subjective of course, but to me what makes a Griff look so much better is ditching the estorils

I've SP12s on mine and it transforms the car

Looks great. I got to say, still think the Camille rims look fantastic though.

Now that's what I would call a desirable car. Just purrfect.

It looks to me like a 6.2 litre Chevrolet LS3 engine - depending on version, it gives anything from 350 to 500 bhp and a lovely torque curve

It is indeed a 6.2 LS3 and it gave a reliable 445 bhp on a rolling road, chassis is a Sportmotive Evolution which is a masterpiece and a Tremec TR6060
six-speed gearbox. A huge thanks to Ian and the guys at Sportmotive for a brilliant installation.

Front view bespoke adjustable dampers ali billet uprights, screw camber adjusters on upper wishbone

Bit tight to get past the 6 speed gearbox!

I've had three, Macau Yellow was my favorite, closely followed by Storm Grey, Moonraker Black looked good but needed constant cleaning. Personally I'd always stick with original wheels, these cars are at an age where owners are happy to mess around with the appearance but give it a few more years and it'll be as popular as flared arches and slot-mags on an E-type (yes, people did do that) smile

I don't disagree with you Mellow about the alloys and the originals will always stay with the car. Having said that the Lenso rims look fantastic in my opinion, I'm very pleased I bought them and with a size up both ends the car sits better and there's a much wider choice of tyres. All IMO of course.

It's also fair to say they re-ignited my interest in the car which was waning a little TBH with faster more comfortable and competent everyday machinery on the scene.rotate

It's at times like this, more than ever, that I appreciate how beautiful Griff's really are, and that I do own one of the best looking cars ever made, and that blue is gorgeous.
Friends say to me what would you own if you were a billionaire, I reply "what I've got in the garage" I already have my dream car.

Ocean haze looks different in different lights:

We've also got a flip flop yellow 500:

Halcyon midas pearl is a great colour - rare but flies love it.

Black as your hat! Camel/Tan interior.

Agreed - a bugger to keep clean.

Best I've seen is dark metallic grey.

I think most dark colours suit the Griff, mine in malachite...
