Shame to put those pistons in an engine - they’d look great under glass as part of a coffee table smile

Update on the build

M16 x 1.5mm pitch x14mm length grub screws delivered and successfully test fitted to the crank. If anyone has a Doug Kiddie Crank and needs grub screws in the future these were purchased from Performance Fasteners Ltd in West Bromwich.
http://www.performancefastenersltd.co.uk/

I visited Power to drop off the throttle bodies so they can be port matched to the heads. The block is now so clean you could eat your dinner off of it.

Dom has put some pictures of his own on Power's Facebook page - looking good cool

We’ll have to use Hethel as a test, can’t see me holding Matthew back now, even balking him isn’t likely to work for long rofl

A V8 sports car with like 8 carbs on it, what’s not to like thumbup

Nothing I know of.
Just a reference to the time I held off Matthew at the great place.
We were having a ball duelling, takes trust and if I got through the man made chicane I could just hold him off at the end of the long straight, he nailed me there too, great craic, can’t see me doing that after this engine gets built was my point biggrin

Cars were very evenly matched, was great fun. You forgot to mention you trying to put me off with various rude hand gestures. rofl

Still one of my favourite trackday memories

Memories from a day at the home of Lotus a couple of years ago. Quite a number of TVRs were allowed onto a classic car track day and proceeded to boss it, and we all know each other. Peter, with 380 bhp, was the fastest of us, but the rest of us showed that bhp deficiencies didn't matter too much on a twisty circuit. Fond memories of a sunny summer day.

Update on the build, the exhaust manifolds have arrived at Zircotec so there will be an update on these hopefully next month once they have been plasma coated.
