Only advice I can give is check cazana and the govt MOT history.

Had outriggers 2016/17 - see cazana july 2017 advert - big thing is who did it and how good a job it was.
Odd there's no MOT listed before 2016 - maybe plate changes?

Number plate changes would be irrelevant. All data is transferred with a change of reg.

Electronic MoT records started in 2005, although some testers didn't adopt the system until 2006. Suffice to say, it didn't receive an MoT test for at least 10 years until June 2016. Not an issue if it was stored carefully (?!?)

When one is spending in excess of 14 bags it's wise to gather as much information as physically and mentally possible

There is a lovely looking 4.3 with a dealer for £24k. So, providing it has a sound chassis, you'd have nearly £10k to spend on refurb and upgrades of the car you're looking at. Or £12k against the one for sale privately.

I’ve also got a 4.3 and been thinking about selling it. Sent you a PM on it if you want any more info.

I've spent 15k on totally refurbishing mine, so far, and that's with me doing pretty much all the labour!
Still got the paint and the interior to do rolleyes

Mind you, that's the gearbox and diff rebuilt, with a top end engine rebuild, and everything that can be replaced...replaced!!
