Good Afternoon.

When i shift quick from 2-3th gear, i have sometimes crunchy noice...what i d'ont like. All other gears are fine. in my old porsche this was solved by putting swepco 201 80w90 oil in it. Anyone tried this also? Would castrol syntrans 75w90 be better or is the difference between 75w90 and 80w90 neglectable?

Thanks for the help allready on the forum!! Oil pressure problem is allready solved !!

I have a similar problem on a recently overhauled LT77 and tried that mentioned difflock oil and it didn’t feel any different to the ATF that came out.
I’d agree with one of the posters that it’s probably Fuchs ATF of some description as it comes in a Fuchs branded bottle with a difflock label.
No help I know but may save you spending silly money on it.

I am using Castrol Syntrans and it does feel a lot better. I did contemplate Difflock but thought I would try the Castrol first. As someone said previously they thought Difflock was rebranded Fuchs. I found this on another site and it is reasonably priced on Opie Oils: Fuchs Titan Sintofluid SAW 75W-80

Hello,

What Castrol Syntrans do you use ?

Castrol Syntrans VFE 75w-80
Castrol Syntrans Transaxle 75w90

then there is also Syntrans multivehicle 75w90 ........

Or is the difference minimal?

I really would try Swepco 201 80w-90 ,but i think it is to thick?

Hi there I used Syntrans 75w90 multi vehicle.
It has greatly improved shifting-especially 1 to 2 when cold.

I tried syntran, but TBH it was slow between gears, especially when cold, so I've gone back to ATF.
