I have a cunning plan involving new wheels and tyres - TVR Beaver is aware I don't want a set now, so there's an extra set of 5 caps available smile

TVR Beaver, I would love a set if there is one going.

I bought a Griff in the summer and recently lost a one, that is not my biggest problem at the moment as the power steering hose split last week sending fluid straight onto the exhaust, smokey!

She will be back soon enough!

PM John (TVR Beaver) he got them made, he may have a set left or might be able to get some more made if there's enough interest

All sorted now thanks, tvrbeavers made centres bought off a chap who never fitted them
to his car. Excellent quality & when they get powder coated to match my wheels I'm sure
they'll look the dogs nuts!!

Hello everybody,

Just wondering what the situation is currently re wheel centres, sadly lost one recently and noticed that the others have all got cracks around the security bolts so likely to fail soon.

So ideally I would like a full set or as an interim one to replace the lost one.

Thanks

Hi all, I have a set of the aluminium wheel centres on my Griff, but the bolts holding them on need replacing. I bought some M8 countersunk bolts, but the heads are bigger than the originals and protrude. Does anyone know where you can get bolts the same as the originals?

Thanks!

Hi David.. what's up with the originals?.. they are a good SS so should not de-grade?

I can always make you some more if needs be.... smile

A monkey messed up the hex key slot on a couple when taking the wheel off/back on. Don't know what they used to remove them, but it wasn't a hex key, looks more like a star key marking.

Well.. if you try use torx on them... they will chew up I guess laugh

how many do you need?.... as I say.. I can turn up a couple more if you need some for a few beer tokens wink

Or you can take your c/sunk ones you've bought (assuming the hex is deep enough) to someone with a lathe and ask them to turn them down for you... should not cost more than £15 or so I'd guess.... ??

Ahhh, I didn't realise the bolts were not off-the-shelf items. Explains why the ones I purchased have larger heads. I will ask around locally and see if I can get the 10 I've bought machined down as a first step.
