Right then, someone is going to have to help me out here...

I get the Mini project, even though there is very little of the original Mini left, what they have ended up with is a Mini that is massively more up to date and faster, yet still looks like a classic Mini. Perfect.

Escargot... They started with a truck and removed a load of weight, then found they could remove some more by swapping in more modern running gear into the chassis and body... All good so far.

Then they find the body is toast and throw that away as well, so all they have left from the original truck is some chassis rails and a cab...

Would it not have been easier to put a new body on the DAF, or have I missed something? Aside from the fact I might be trying to apply logic to a BoM project obvs...

I think the library bus is registered as a class 4 private HGV which makes it much easier to own/run/operate. Plus, obviously, the Cargo is much, much longer than the DAF chassis.
