I think I am right in saying that this used to belong to a poster on here who used to hill climb it, plan is to get it into historic rally spec and do some of the hrcr events as a couple are local ish to me.

Going to drop the guy who used to own it a pm to pick his brain on its build spec as although the car came with a massive stack of old invoices I have no idea if all the parts on the inv are relevant to this car anymore, and the guy I bought it from was a little hazy on parts of the engine spec.

I don't use pistonheads much but will try to do some sort of thread on it.

First step is getting it MOT'd and then giving it a bit of running to make sure all is ok, plan is to enter the tour of Cheshire in early March but that depends on the mini being reliable and trustworthy, so we will see.

Can you give any clue as to the location of the car - when you bought it and where it was used for hillclimbing. I maybe recognise it but there are a lot of Minis that fit the description you have given!
