Some nice, shiney new Range Rovers there!
Back to scruffier older ones...

We took our 1958 88" Land-Rover to the Series One Club's "Back to the Bay" event on Anglesey the other weekend. Took a while to sort out our photos but here it is:

Pictured with "Oxford" the 1955 86" which was part of the Oxford and Cambridge First Overland Expedition from London to Singapore.

Probably the only car I would buy in green, it somehow suits the L322 Range Rover.

In my opinion, mine is in the nicest of all the greens they ever produced - Tonga !

Long way to go before mine turns a wheel under its own power. Started in January 18 with a loose collection of parts, some assembled, the majority not. Out into the sunshine three weeks ago or so. Now starting to rebuild the tub starting with the rear end first; a bit daunting as I haven't tackled anything like this before.

Stunning. I so want to do a series SWB resto too.

Do you have a thread in it's own right? If not, you should!

Thanks for the encouraging words.
Some good progress on the tub this weekend. Far more straightforward than I though that it would be. Still a long way to go though with a repair needed on a tub front mounting point.

And “Monty” my project 80” trailer.
Was up at my mates on his ramp giving it a once over and changing the starter, fuel pump and battery and giving it some tlc.

Going back up soon for a service and some brake work.

Exploring Salisbury Plain last week, all day we only saw some MOD guard cows.

In the line for the Studland chain ferry after exploring Dorest for a few days. You can almost hear the chassis crusting

Playing with some mates around Saffron Walden way
Revisited Claerwen and Elan Valley a month later, a truly lovely place to be. A long journey from Bedfordshire in a Series though.

Finally down to East Horsley in Surrey for a spot of camping and a trip to Brooklands

Series tailgate makes a great stove table biggrin

Was giving the 80 some tlc before an off roading weekend coming up.

Then it’s off to Peterborough for the Land Rover show.
D3 can have the fun of towing it down.
