I think you will have to do the LR Experience in the D5
I know. And I'm worried that I'll like it!

Sounds like I'm going to have to increase the budget and get a D4!!

Might have to wait until next year though, must get the house build finished first!

I could never liked while the arse end looks like it does, just leaves me cold. I have been all over one just before launch and love the front and the interior but it just goes tits up from the C pillar back

Well my introduction into Land rover ownership is not going well

2 months in and 1k done and the car will be in for a replacement intercooler as mine is split.
I know they are not high up in the reliability ranks but this is stupid.

Glad I have warranty.
Nah, I'd say your introduction to the brand is going exactly to plan, we all get to know our Service Manager quite well wink

Completely agree. But then most of the new stuff does go awful at the rear, it's like they give up and rush it as it nears the end. The new restyled RR Sport is just as bad.

D4 still a high water mark for me. Way more practical than D5 too..

I suspect the new defender will be the actual replacement for the disco 4.

Update on my disco.

WOW what crap support from my local dealer.
Service and MOT due in the next month. called 2 days ago and spoke to the receptionist. Could not go through to service as they are busy so will call back to arrange to inform me of costs of the service at 4 years and Mot. 2 days later nothing. will have to call them again today

Seem's even a premium dealer does not want to know after buying the car.
Don't get me wrong the car (apart from a issues with the intercooler that was finally sorted) has been great. I do love the car. just crap after service.

Main reason for taking it back to them is that it had a 2 year extended warranty and I have a issue with the nearside passenger seat belt not pulling out very well gets stuck. So thought sort that at the same time.

But thinking now I may get a local independant specialist to do the MOT and service and just take to the dealer to get the seat belt sorted.

Do this - I never take any of my cars to a main dealer for an MoT.
