range rover 4.4 using oil

RANGE ROVER 4.4L
I have just brought 3 months ago, a 2012 range rover 4.4
We have a problem ,it's loosing lots of oil (a gallon every 1000 miles ) but very little from the exhaust and none under the car we have had the turbos tested ( no issues )
Has anyone come across this before and will a scavenger system fix the problem ?

This is very unusual and unlikely that the scavenger fix is the solution though it could account for some loss. Is your car sat in traffic idling for long periods as this is when the oil can leak past but you would really notice the excess oil being burnt with plumes of black smoke.

Just picked it up from the garage scavenger system fitted
compression tested
turbos tested
no drips or leaks
will wait and see if it fixes the 100 mile to a gallon of oil problem

Scavenger kit seems to have worked ,so if your looking to bye a Range rover 4.4 make sure it's been fitted 😃
