Picked up my Defender from the dealer yesterday and am over the moon.

Have gone from a 300bhp car to life in the slow lane. But I am ready for the Zombie apocalypse.

Decided its the perfect vehicle for me due to owning a boat and a jetski. I also figured it was great for carting my dogs around. The first problem I noticed is I have to lift both of my dogs in it, which didnt once occur to me prior to ownership. Still smiling though.

I feel you pain with the dog lifting, when I had my 110 my dog would jump in fine at first then once she was getting over excited and misjumped and ended up tangled in the towbar and would never jump in herself after that!

Looks absolutely lovely

You've probably already looked, but there are any number of ramps/steps etc to help dogs get in & out of Land Rovers.
Have a Google & look at the Land Rover sites that come up.

That certainly looks The Dogs! Lovely Landy.

Got a similar Boat based issue so considering an L332 Rangey due to the miles Il be towing in it.
